After Shinobu revealed her situation to her sister Kanae they both discussed a way to defeat and behead uppermoon 2. Both of them knew that simply trying to fend him off would only cause more trouble for the sisters.
Eventually they came to a mutual agreement. First order of business is they need to inform someone of Shinobu's predicament.
Which brings us to Gyomei's Estate.
She arrived at Gyomei's Estate. seeing it did further help her realize that she was truly in the past.
She looked around at the well maintained foliage and shrubbery, then knocked on the door. It quickly opened, a kakushi member greeting her.
"You've been expected, he is waiting inside the guest area, down this hall and to the left, second door." The kakushi explained to Her.
Shinobu stepped in following the instructions she had been given and opened the presumed door to where Gyomei was waiting for her. She stepped into the room and observed the nicely furnished interior.
"Shinobu-san, you may sit where you like." Gyomei said while sipping on some tea.
"I am sorry for coming on such short notice, this is just something I'm not sure the others would understand or believe." Shinobu said apologetically.
"It's alright, whatever you tell or ask of me I'll believe you." Gyomei reassured the young slayer.
("Young" lol)
"Thank you Gyomei-san" Shinobu thanked, as she took a sip from her own tea.
"So what would you like to tell me?" Gyomei asked out of curiosity.
Shinobu began to explain her predicament to The Stone Pillar.
Kanae's apparent death by uppermoon 2 a month from now, shinobu's role as the insect pillar, and her role in Defeating the Demon King. Of course she'd left out her revenge part out of the story.
She did keep in the part where she fought uppermoon 2.
"So you're telling me Kanae-san is supposed to die battling Upper 2 a month from now, as a result you became the insect pillar, created a poison that weakened kibutsuji, and died fighting the same demon that killed kanae-san, correct?" Gyomei asked for confirmation.
"Yes, and Traveled 4 years in the past after battling Upper 2." Shinobu confirmed.
"I see… say I believe you, why come to me with this information?" The Stone Pillar asked despite knowing what the answer could be.
"A Month From now Upper Moon 2 will appear on XX/XX," Shinobu looked up to meet Gyomei's full white eyes.
"I'm asking if you could Assist me and Nee-san in defeating Uppermoon 2." She asked With the most Determination Gyomei had seen ever since Shinobu wanted to become a slayer herself.
That kind of determination was something he hadn't seen in a while.
With that, Gyomei Answered.
"Ok, I believe you, Shinobu-san."
"Wait, really?" Shinobu asked, caught off guard by Gyomei's response.
"I haven't seen you this determined ever since you wanted to join the slayer corps." Gyomei answered, "although this brings up a question I have."
Shinobu stayed silent.
Gyomei got closer towards Shinobu with a serious look,
"Are you going to inform the master?"
Shinobu thought about that for a while, while she DID want to tell her master, something in her gut told her not to.
She always trusted her gut feeling, but this time she began to question it somewhat.
