Arvin's POV:Arvin groaned, a stinging sensation filling his body as he got harshly pulled out of sleep. He opened his eyes, blurry nothingness filling his vision as he tried to see his surroundings but to no avail. He swiftly sat up, immediately groaning in pain as the stinging only worsened.
He pinched the bridge of his nose and frowned in frustration, his vision slowly coming back as he looked around the dark room. He looked over his shoulder, his heart skipping a beat as he immediately saw his girl wrapped in the sheets, small snores leaving her parted lips as she was sound asleep. Arvin leant down, a hiss leaving his lips as he rested on his injured arm. He moved a strand of hair out of her face and pushed it behind her ear, admiring her sleeping but breathtaking form. His heart leapt in his chest. Arvin often wondered on how he'd managed to get her for himself. And why she seemed to almost love him as much as he loved her. For him, the statement seemed unreal, how this actual angel could ever love a sinner like him.His heart suddenly dropped before he hooked his fingers underneath her chin, his eyes glossing over as he saw the red blossoming trail going down her throat. He lifted her head up, his eyebrows drawn together and his mouth in a straight line as he studied the wound. He slowly let go of her chin, her head falling back onto the pillow as she continued to snuggle in the sheets. Arvin sighed out, his heart sinking and a tear leaving his eyes. He'd been determined to always protect her, no matter what the cost would be. But he always seemed to break that promise. More tears left his eyes as he gazed down at his beautiful angel. He stared down at her shaggy, messed up hair and the long stripe running down the side of her face from the imprint of the pillow... She looked straight up gorgeous...
"Love?" Arvin asked quietly, nudging her lightly in the shoulder. Y/n groaned and pulled the sheets further over her body, her beautiful breasts and shoulders disappearing underneath the sheets as she turned over in her sleep. Arvin sighed, his body too tired to try again.
"I'm sorry, darling... I should've protected you but.. but I didn't..." he choked as he pulled her into his chest from behind, nuzzling his face into her hair.
Y/n's POV:
You huffed out as you were harshly pulled out of sleep. Your eyebrows furrowed, small moans and cries filling the almost empty room as you came to. You opened your eyes and parted your lips in a yawn as your eyes skimmed over the dark room.
"I should've believed you... I should always believe you, angel, always." your eyes widened as you heard Arvin choke behind you. Your mouth fell open, tears pricking your eyes at the sound of his voice. Arvin had been unconscious for over two days, barely breathing and fighting to stay alive and so hearing his gentle voice made your knees weak.
"Arvin." you breathed out before turning around to face him. His eyes widened as well, a choke leaving his lips as he stared back into your eyes. You took his face and pulled him towards you, smashing your lips together. Arvin returned it, his good arm gripping your waist. You couldn't help but smirk as he slipped his tongue into your mouth. You giggled against his lips as your tongues fought for dominance and your teeth and lips clashed. You had really missed this.. Arvin slowly broke the kiss, his soft and warm lips leaving yours before he touched your foreheads.
"I'm so sorry, my love. This is all my fault." Arvin said quietly, his hand raising to tuck a lose strand of hair behind your hair as he spoke. You bit your lip and looked up at the love of your life. Those chocolate orbs stared back down at you lovingly with nothing but pure adoration in them, Arvin's always hot and musky breath hitting your face and dancing in your nose as you gazed at each other.
"You're alright, Arvin... I understand why you reacted the way you did and in the end.. you saved me." you mumbled and gave him a small smile. He let a breathy laugh escape his lips as he subtly started to wipe away his tears.
"I'd like to say that I saved you, but that would be lying, dolly." he scoffed, making your eyebrows furrow.
"You saved me, just as you've done since the day that I met you. Honestly, doll, I don't know what I'd do without you.. You're just perfect to me. I want to savor every moment I have with you because.. because you are my everything. I think you're the most beautiful girl I've ever met, breathtaking to look at. And you're smart too, nothing like the women or men I've ever met before.. And you're kind and caring and I want to spend the rest of my life with you..." Arvin shook his head, more tears leaving his eyes as he gazed down at you. You returned it, your eyes glassy as you wrapped your arms around his waist and pulled him into a tight hug. Arvin hissed quietly.
"Careful with the arm, doll." he chuckled quietly, making you give him a sheepish smile. Arvin wrapped his good arm protectively around your waist, carefully pulling you into his chest and letting you listen to his gentle heartbeat. You sighed out and put your hands against chest as you snuggled into him. Arvin leant down and prepped a soft kiss against your hair, holding you close against him.
"Darling?" he hummed against your head.
"Yes, Arvin?" you yawned, your eyes fighting to stay opened as you cuddled further into him. You heard him chuckle quietly, a pause briefly filling the conversation as he thought.
"Do you want to marry me?" he replied equally as quietly. Your eyes widened, more tears streaming from them as you felt your heart plummet to your feet again. This was it. He had asked you to marry him... You and Arvin had been seeing each other for a long time now, meaning that things were getting more serious. So serious in fact, that you had starting to think out a ring and possible vows. You thought about what it would be like to get knocked up, how it would feel to be claimed as his. Claimed as his wife, as the mother of his children. A broad smile spread on your face. You couldn't think of anything better. You started to think about how he'd interact with your own kids, when you eventually had them, and how amazing that would be. Your hand flew to cover your mouth, your heart racing at the idea of marriage. But your answer was obvious at this point. You looked up at your boy, his eyes dark but full of love as he gazed down at you with beastly grace.
"Yes, Arvin, I'll marry you.." you quipped before he leant down and kissed you passionately.
