And he looked at me like there was something in me worth looking at.

"Move closer, put your foreheads together, and keep your eyes closed. Then put your hands on his chest," the photographer instructed.
Reluctantly I follow the directions.
"Ibrahim, put your arms around her waist, please," the photographer says.
My breath hitched as he did as instructed. We were too close.
"You guys look so good together," Ailah yells.
We finished up the first shoot and left to change. Safina helped me out of my first dress. It was a straight-fitted white satin dress with a beaded neckline, long sleeves and a train.
I changed into the second dress, a baby blue, fully beaded, straight-fitted dress. It had long sleeves, and two capes hung from each shoulder.
I paired it with clear Amina Muaddi heels, and I didn't need to change my jewellery. My hair was parted at the centre and brushed behind my ears for this look.
"Let's get you back out," Safina says.
She walks me back into the room. But unfortunately, Ibrahim had yet to return, so I had to wait a while.
"We didn't get a chance to talk yet," Ailah says as she and Hudayya walk over to me.
"Yeah, we haven't," I replied.
"It's nice to have another girl in the mix. It's been just the two of us for the longest time," Hudayya says.
"The guys never brought their girlfriends around?" I asked.
"Nope, I guess the relationships never blossomed to that point," Ailah said.
"Oh, I see," I respond.
"So, how old are you?" Hudayya asks.
"Freshly 19. How about you guys," I answer.
"We're 19 too. We're going to be such good friends," Hudayya responds.
"I don't mean to be rude, and you can choose not to answer, but if you're just 19, why are you getting married?" Ailah asks.
I was about to say something when Akram interrupted.
"Mind your business," He says, making a shooing motion.
"I'm sorry about that. Ailah meets someone and immediately thinks she's close enough to ask personal questions," he says to me and shoots her a glare.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to invade your personal life," she says.
"It's no problem. I wasn't offended. It's only natural for you to wonder," I reply.
"The groom is here, so let's begin," the photographer calls out.
He looked delicious in his deep blue suit with black dress pants and loafers. He was a devastatingly handsome guy. I wanted to eat him because that's how good he looked.
His first outfit had been tremendous but regular, but this was beyond excellent. I loved a handsome man in a well-fitted suit. It checked all the boxes.
"You look lovely," he said as he took my hand and led me to the chair we would use for this shoot.
"You didn't say that earlier," I said in a bratty tone.
