Your ability allowed you to enter the mind of another person and extract their thoughts, memories, and even their most deepest, darkest secrets and desires. To use this ability, you had to establish a psychic link with the target, which could be done through intense eye contact or intimate physical touch. Once the link was established, you could enter the target's mind and navigate their thoughts and memories.
The process of extraction was complex and required a great deal of skill and concentration. You had to carefully navigate the target's subconscious and unconscious mind, avoiding mental defences and barriers along the way. Once the desired information was located, you were able to extract it without permanently altering the target's brain chemistry.
The extracted information was used for a variety of purposes—such as blackmail, espionage, or sabotage. Your three favourite things. Your ability was exactly why you were a renowned member of the Decay of Angels. By using Psychic Extraction, you were able to extract sensitive information from your targets, such as passwords, personal secrets to use as a weapon against them, or confidential business information. The ability to extract information from the minds of others was also useful for gathering intelligence on potential targets and identifying weaknesses in their defences. Members of the Decay of Angels would use this knowledge to plan their attacks and increase their chances of success.

It was to stop you from using your ability on anyone else, because even now, if you suddenly found a way to take it off, the first thing you would do was break into Ranpo's mind and completely destroy him just for being an insufferable prick.
