Namjoon knocked on the door lightly, his head already hung in shame.

Jackson opened not too long after with a deep scowl. He absolutely knew who was at the door before he opened it. Jackson looked him up and down before raising a brow at him

Namjoon raised up a bag he brought

"Peace offering?"

Jackson simply blinked twice and kept his expression blank

"I'm sorry for what happened today. Can I come in so that we can talk?" Namjoon tried again.

Jackson pursued his lips a bit before rolling his eyes and allowing his employee in. He immediately took the bag from him and carried it over to his coffee table.

He unpacked the contents which consisted of vanilla ice cream, chocolate donuts, caramel cake and peanut butter milkshakes.

"Wow, you really went all out...you trying to say sorry or make me fat?"

"Both. And that's just how you like it," Namjoon replied, taking off his coat and hanging it up.

Jackson nodded slightly not able to argue. He went to the kitchen quickly to just grab some plates.

Once everything was sorted and out nicely, the two sat down the couch. Jackson grabbed a peanut butter milkshake and sipped it slowly, waiting for Namjoon to begin.

"I know what I did was completely unacceptable and I apologize sincerely. It will not happen again and I will apologize to BamBam and Mark as soon as I can as well. Should you decided to let me go I will completely understand. But I want you to know I truly do appreciate everything you have done for me thus far," Namjoon rushed out

Jackson blinked twice before he finally stopped sipping his milkshake.

"What the hell was that? A letter to management?" Jackson deadpanned.

"I... I'm trying to apologize."

"I dont want your bullshit apologies."

"But I-"

"I want an explanation. I'm trying to understand you here, you dumbass," Jackson interrupted.

Namjoon pursed his lips for a second before looking down.

"I don't completely understand myself if I'm being honest," Namjoon replied under his breathe.

Jackson simply hummed, indicating that Namjoon should continue.

The sin sighed deeply.

"I just ...got so angry..." He tried.

"At what?"

"I... I don't know..."

"You... You weren't jealous right?" Jackson questioned carefully.

"Ew, no," Namjoon immediately rejected.

"Ok rude. Had to be sure," Jackson held his hands up in defence.

"I was honestly just anger. Just pure rage. For no reason....I don't even know how to control it," Namjoon tried once more.

"Does it happen often...you just being angry?"

"Sometimes...use to be all the time."

"Have you considered seeking help? Like anger management or something?"

As if that would do anything....I've been foresaken.

"I tried... It didn't work. But it's fine. I won't ever take it out on you or anyone else again...I promise," Namjoon vowed, his brows furrowing towards the end.

"Well...alright...just let me know if you need a minute or something. I will let you have one," Jackson said awkwardly, taking a bite of one of the donuts.

Namjoon produced the best smile he could.

"Thank you, Jackson."

"Stop that, your dimples make me wanna be sick."

Namjoon breathed out a short scuff.

He rolled his eyes before he repeated.

"Thank you, Jackson"

But this time he said it with such seriousness and earnesty.

"Ew, true appreciation," was Namjoon's boss' only reply before said male grabbed the remote and began to flip through the channels. Namjoon didn't pay attention to any of the images flipping past the silver, but rather focused on the warmth of relief settling in his chest.

But it wouldn't last as he had a meeting with the skeletons in his closet not far ahead of him. And it was quite overdue.
