Kronos Island (Part 3)

Shadow grumbles as he didn't have enough keys. "Cyberspace." He thought, leaping down from the diamond and, using his cyber corruption, he sees where the other portals are. He warps to one of them.

Taking out a gear, he inserts it into the hole, causing the portal to light up with a light hum. Shadow places his hand onto the gear, entering Cyberspace.

He exits the portal, seeing Crisis City appear before his eyes, looking more glitchy than ever. Black Assassins and Black Hawks, along with a swarm of Iblis-manifested volcanic creatures littered around him. Has Westopolis always been like this? He ponders, skating away. He ignored the iblis creatures and knocked away the Black Arms attempting to assassinate him.

When he exited, he got 8 keys.

"Should be enough." He thought, teleporting back to the black diamond, seeing red and green pillars of light.

He teleports to the red light and grabs the red Chaos Emerald, then teleports to the green emerald. "Finally." He exchanges the blue emerald for the green one, throwing it up and catching it. "Chaos Control!" He yells, warping away.

—————(Hey let's see what Sage is doing)——————

Sage teleports back into Cyberspace, going to her father. "f-father." She tried to remain in a neutral tone, but failed. Eggman noticed that something is wrong, and said, "Status report." Sage nodded, "Sonic has been immobilized, and Sh-shadow is collecting the Chaos Emeralds." Her code winced at the mention of his name. He had fired a warning shot, but, in her eyes, he was trying to kill her, but missed his spear.

"Next time you do that, it's not going to just be your cloak that is broken, Sage. Mark. My. Words." Shadow's voice rang throughout her code. "Sage? Sage, answer me!" Eggman said, as Sage snapped out of her trance. "M-my apologies, father." 

"Shadow did something to you, didn't he?" Eggman asked with every bit of hate and malice towards the hedgehog duo.

"I was t-trying to protect you... 'The End' Is going to be released and it's all my fault..." Sage sucked in a shaky breath. "All my fault..."

"What's 'the end' you say?" Eggman asked. "A being capable of destroying planets in one swoop. It is terrifying, father..."

It was at this moment when Eggman felt true hate and Animosity course through his veins. Sure, he had always hated the hedgehogs for foiling his plans, but this was different. This felt personal. Shadow had harmed his daughter's mental state, and he was going to make him pay 10 times, no, 100 times the pain he felt when he lost Maria.

"That... is the reason I kept you here... I want to keep you safe." Sage says to her father, who nods in acknowledgement.

"I'll make him pay for doing that, okay?" Eggman said in a more gentle tone.

Sage nodded.

Going back to when Sonic just woke up.

Amy had encountered a Coco. "Come on, Sonic!" She argues. "We can't just leave the mother hanging, right?" Sonic shook his head. "That is important, but you are my priority, Ames." Amy was taken aback by this, blushing visibly, but she went on to continue. "Are you saying you'll leave a person in need?!" She asks the blue blur.

"..." He was silent.

"You're right." He sighs. "You win."

The coco bounced about, seeing their children being rounded up by Sonic. It holds the Chaos Emerald, Wondering if it should give that to the blue hero.

The children were happily babbling nonsense, at least to Sonic. Suddenly, bombs were spawning under them. "What the- I'm trying to get you to your mother!" Sonic shouts, trying to dodge the bombs.

Once the children were yeeted into their mother (that sounded wrong), the mother came upfront and gave him the Chaos Emerald.

"Nice!" He cheers, going into a goofy dance. Amy was very unimpressed.

Time skip a little forward. (Skipping the coco, just wanted to show a SonAmy moment lmao)

Sonic had gotten his 3 emeralds from the coco while Shadow got his 3 from collecting keys from cyberspace and freeing the emeralds. He mindlessly warps around, not seeing where the last emerald could be.

He came to a conclusion.

The emerald's on the goddamn titan.

He groans. He needs to find Sonic.

He warps to Sonic, seeing him do a goofy dance after acquire a Chaos Emerald. "Can you not?!" Shadow barks, scaring Sonic and throwing off his dance. "What the hell, Shadow? I was in a groove there!" Shadow scoffs. "Your dance is a pain in my ass." (Hey that rhymed!) "It is in mine too..." Amy speaks up. (WAIT NO-)

"The emerald's on the titan." Shadow says, pointing to the Titan above.

"Oh." Sonic drops his demeanor.

Sonic places his hand on Shadow's back, and he leaps away. "Don't touch me. You have your own emeralds; do your own." He holds out the green emerald, as does Sonic with the cyan emerald. "CHAOS—" The duo proclaims.

"—CONTROL!" They disappear.

I need to make buildup to titan, and I have no idea how to describe shit like this, this is my first Sonic fic because I'm scared I'll write Shadow ooc.
