"Barcode, go to this location and eliminate the target" Ex Piya simply said while showing a picture of the target on the desk in his office to Barcode, the person who was in the palm of his hands.

"Yes" Barcode simply said, with no emotion, and no questions asked. The Boss as usual was satisfied with this, like he always was. Ex Piya always got what he wanted, and eliminated everyone who stood in his way. With Barcode in his hands, who was the most feared assassin defiantly had its advantages for the boss.

But it wasn't easy training his pet to as loyal as he was now, this kind of thing took time, the time Ex Piya never had the patients for but was willing to do it just because he was a stubborn man. "Ta, you will be accompanying Barcode on this mission"

"Yes, sir" Ta said with a very excited smile. This dissatisfied the boss, he hated things out of order, and Ta was one of those things. But what could he do? Ta was his son, and he was more loyal than a dog, so he proved himself useful.

"NO!" Barcode said sternly, looking Ta dead in the eye. "I do this alone"

"Oh, come on! Its going to be fun!" Ta whined to Barcode, Ex Piya just simply clicked his tongue and the two looked his way.

"When I say something, you listen" Ex Piya said in the tone he had been using with Barcode since the day he was born.

"Yes, father" Barcode said like a robot and stood like a solder ready to accept the mission with Ta. Although Ex Piya and Barcode were not related, Barcode called him this since he was a child. No one knew the reason for this, but Ex Piya had him perfectly where he wanted him to. "But..." Barcode surprisingly answered back for the first-time shocking Ta and Ex Piya in the room.

"I feel that it is rather unnecessary bringing Ta along, he is a mess when he is on missions. I can never get my work done on time with him around, I have to always watch out for him and his butter fingers always making fingerprints everywhere. He is untidy, unorganized, a mess, he reeks of an odour I cannot explain very clearly. This mission will be done ten times faster if he were out of the way" Barcode insulted every bit of Ta, but Ta was used to this, Barcode was just naturally honest and knew no emotion.

"Very well" Ex Piya clenched his jaw because he was not satisfied with how Barcode was talking to him, this was unlike Barcode and he was furious. But because of the mission he accepted it for now, he was going to teach Barcode a lesson when he came back. "Remember son, I love you"

Like a drug that sprang into Barcodes ear, Barcode nodded. "Yes, father.... I love you too" Barcode only knew this kind of love, love that was from his so called 'family' and his so called 'father' he didn't know anything besides this.

Those words that Barcode had just said is how Ex Piya knows that Barcode will never betray him, its his manipulative words. It's the words Barcode is so desperate to hear, a word his mother had said before she died and knew that those words met something so meaningful that's why he trusted Ex Piya as if he were his own father... all Ex Piya's plan of course.

"You may go" Ex Piya said with his manipulative smiling. Barcode slowly bowed to his father and Ta, and exited to room leaving both Ta and Ex Piya in the room alone together. Their smiles immediately dropped as he did so.

"Interesting" Ta said in a snake like manner.

"He has never spoken out like this, at least not in this way" Ex Piya said in anger. "Is he seeing through the Façade?"
