Chapter 6:

"Barcode!!!" Barcode heard as he arrived inside his favorite shop and as he turned around he saw Jeff waving to him with flowers in his hand and he wore a suit.

"Jeff" Barcode said and looked kind of speechless.

"These are for you" Jeff said as he handed the flowers to Barcode. Barcode was very surprised by this because he hadn't received anything like this before. This was a new experience for him.

"Thank you... I hope you don't mind that I am late" Barcode said and Jeff laughed and touched Barcodes cheek.

"I don't mind waiting, I would wait however long it takes you to come! Your worth it" Jeff said and Barcode looked away smiling ridiculously at Jeff's words. "What?"

"Its just... I feel weird" Barcode said shyly.

Jeff frowned worryingly at Barcode. "Weird in a good way or a bad way?"

"Don't worry, it's a good feeling" Barcode said and Jeff went back to smiling.

"I just wish we had a better place for our first date" Jeff said and Barcode smiled at him and sneakily took his hand in his making Jeff look down and back at Barcode slowly with the happiest expression in the world.

"Are you guys insulting my restaurant!!!" Chef yelled at the two by the counter.

The both only now noticed that other people were their and stopped holding hands in embarrassment. "Ah, no sorry. This is actually my favorite shop" Barcode said and Chef looked happy to hear that.

"Well, it better be! Or we will have problems" Chef said and then continued to cook in the back. Jeff took Barcodes hand once again and guided them to the back of the room where there was more privacy for the two to sit and enjoy. Barcode was happier, but one thing was defiantly haunting him while he was on his date, and it was the situation about Ta.

"Barcode, I know you are happy but something is defiantly bothering you" Jeff noticed. Barcode could not hide the pain behind his smile.

"Everything is fine" Barcode said and Jeff was not convinced.

"Then what is this mark on your lips?" Jeff said with a frown and Barcode looked away, ashamed to say the truth.

"Is it the same as last time? Is that person still bothering you!" Jeff was upset so Barcode held his hand on the table.

"N-no... I promise everything is okay" Barcode lied and Jeff was upset about it.

"Barcode don't lie to me! You can report this! Bring me to him, I am a cop and I am your... boyfriend" Jeff said and Barcode looked up shocked.

"What?" Barcode said.

Jeff scratched his neck and held Barcodes hand back nervously. "Unless... you don't want..."

"NO!" Barcode said abruptly. "I want to!"

"So, are we officially boyfriends?" Jeff said.

"Yes, we are" Barcode blushed and Jeff couldn't contain his smile, but then he remembered what they were talking about previously and his face suddenly went down in sadness.

"But Barcode... I can't be a proper boyfriend if I don't know what's bothering you. You have to tell me things" Jeff said. "You know so much about me, but I hardly know anything about you... please tell me"

"I will tell you everything. Actually this is the last time that person will bother me, we reached an agreement and he will stop" Barcode said and Jeff looked sternly into Barcodes eyes trying to see if he was lying. But Barcode was a trained assassin so this thing he is used to, he can lie pretty well even with a lie detector and heart monitor on him.
