Jeff sat in the shop as usual in the back of the alley, somewhere the police would never wish to be at but somewhere Jeff felt most connected to since he ran here as a child most of the time. Jeff sat down, looking out of the window rethinking how him and Barcode had met, and the incidents just make Jeff laugh and there was something about the plain Barcode that Jeff found so undeniably cute.

Barcode wasn't plain, its just his words are. He was like a blank piece of paper that Barcode could never read. Something but have happened to him for this to happen. Jeff was very curious about Barcode, and every week his interest grew. Every week he could feel himself blushing at Barcode would do, it was simple yet silly things. He loved seeing Barcode discover the world... it was cute.

"What are you thinking about Jeff!!! You guys are friends, strictly friends" Jeff reminded himself, but couldn't get the image of the handsome Barcode out of his mind. Barcodes naturally curly hair, perfectly pigmented lips and the amazing shape of his lips. "JEFF!!!" He scolded himself again.

To him Barcode was perfect, everything about him stood out. The way he sat, ate food... it was all unique to Jeff. At first, he never felt anything for the guy, just pity his family treated him like shit. He doesn't really know what happened to Barcode at home, but he knew that Barcode had a traumatic life. Soon the days past, and soon Jeff would find himself laughing at everything Barcode would do.

Jeff started to feel something, he began to fall in love. The day he found out he liked Barcode was a week ago. He was still not used to the fact that he liked guys, or one guy which was Barcode. It was all so new to him. But as the week past into the final day, he was certain that he didn't want to lose Barcode ever.

"It is quite late" Jeff said while looking at the time on his watch.

"Maybe something happened to him, you know Bangkok traffic is a bitch" The chef said and Jeff laughed at that.

"Yeah... maybe that" Jeff laughed, but was still worried.

"Why? Why are you so concerned about this kid?" Chef asked.

"Well... to be honest. I think I like him" Jeff blushed and the chef guy was so speechless he accidently put oil onto the pan and a big fire happened but he took the sauce pan off just in time.

"YOU WHAT!" Chef said.

"Yeah, you heard me!" Jeff said with a frown.

"I-I mean... when did you figure that out?" Chef said.

"A week ago" Jeff answered.

"Really? A week ago! You were so confident you went straight into confessing?" Chef said.

"I mean yeah... why would I be hesitant if I like someone?" Jeff said and Chef was moved to tears which he wiped off with his apron.

"All the BL dramas out there would be jealous!" Chef said and continued to cook.

"What do you mean?" Jeff asked.

"Well, people are usually too afraid of their feelings and would probably run away from it. But you, you ran straight forward. No I shouldn't say run... what I mean to say is, YOU SPINTED into love" Chef said and Jeff laughed.

"I mean, I just feel like if you love someone you should have no time to waste and immediately confess if it is the last thing you do. Who knows what the future holds, so take your chances and make it happen. I feel also love has no gender, it is your decision who you love and no one else's" Jeff said with a thumbs up and Chef felt moved once again.

"Quite the opposite actually. I grew up with my mother and father and two brothers. They both were amazing; my oldest brother took over the family business because no one wanted it and my other older brother perused acting. When we were all younger something traumatic happened to me with my mother involved that no one wants to tell me about which caused my parents divorce" Jeff said.
