Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy had always shared a love of all things green and growing. So, when they decided to plant a garden together, they were overjoyed at the prospect of spending hours outside in the fresh air and sunshine.
They picked out their favorite flowers and began to dig into the soil. But as they worked, they noticed something strange happening to the plants. They were growing at an alarming rate, twisting and turning into strange, unnatural shapes.
Suddenly, the ground began to shake, and a huge, monstrous plant burst forth from the earth. It was like nothing they had ever seen before, with razor-sharp thorns and a gaping maw that seemed to hunger for human flesh.
Harley and Ivy screamed and ran, but the plant was too fast. It snatched them up in its tendrils and held them tight, its teeth gleaming in the sunlight.
Just as all hope seemed lost, a familiar figure swooped down from the sky. It was Batman, come to save the day once again.
With his trusty utility belt, Batman fought the monster plant, hacking away at its thorns and dodging its snapping jaws. And in the end, he emerged victorious, the plant vanquished and Harley and Ivy safe once again.
As they dusted themselves off and caught their breath, Ivy turned to Harley and smiled. "Maybe we should stick to indoor plants from now on," she said, and Harley couldn't help but laugh. They may have had a brush with death in the garden, but at least they had each other and a funny story to tell.
