"Spencer we can't keep it" and the look on his face screamed PAIN. She knew that this could potentially test their love for each other. She regretted saying it before she even voiced it out.

A baffled Spencer searched his wife's face. And slowly backed away.
"Wait what!?"

Silence occupied the room and Olivia Just glanced at her husband with so much sympathy. She hated herself for what she was putting him through. She could physically see the weight her statement had on him. Not wanting to break him any further she just kept quiet.

"Olivia what do you mean can't keep it?". After many disagreements with his wife this could be the last straw. And for the first time ever Spencer questioned Olivia's love for him. Rage slowly building up within him he tried to remain calm for the sake of his fragile wife.

Again...silence. He then began to curl his fists, running out of patience he banged his fists on the bed. "Answer me damnit!!!!".

The bang startled Olivia as she jumped up a bit. Suddenly she saw a Spencer she's only seen when he's defending himself or his family. An angry Spencer, she's never been at the receiving end of this stick. For the first time ever she felt scared instead of safe around Spencer.

The bang did not only startle Olivia but it scared Matthew too. Who woke up and started crying.

Shit!! Spencer quickly picked up Matthew and tried calming him down. While rocking Matthew.

"I'm so sorry Liv... I'm sorry i didn't mean to"  He then reached out and touched her back with the intention of soothing her. But instead she flinched.

Realising what he's done he took a step back and gave her, her space.

"Can we please go home" she asked nervously finally breaking the Ice.

"Of course" he said. And opened the door for them. They thanked the doctor and walked to the car.

"You can take the keys I'll take an uber"

"Spencer get in the car"

"I need to think about somethings Liv please just go home without me, I'll be there in the next hour I promise"

"You mad at me?" She asked with a trembling voice.

He didn't respond but he gave her a hug. And for a Split second it felt like everything was going to be okay.

"Drive safely, be careful, I love you". Then he gave her a kiss on the cheek and walked away.

In that moment Olivia wanted to cry, but her poor baby boy was watching so she couldn't. Spencer's words gave her an unsettling feeling. They seemed like a goodbye. Knowing her husband he was holding on for the sake of love but deep down she knew that  if she went ahead with her plan that very same love might be tainted and filled with resentment as a result of her actions. She loved him dearly but abortion was still the plan.

"Where's daddy?"

"He's just going to a friend baby he'll also go home shortly, Ice cream??". She asked as an attempt to distract him.

"Yayy!!"

They drove off to an Ice cream place, dinned and got their Ice cream.

Just like his daddy Matthew read his mom like an open book. "You okay" and he did the thumbs up gesture while asking.

His little hands and innocent smile melted his mommy's heart. "Im okay baby, mommy is just sad because the doctor gave her a boo boo" she said pointing at the plaster where her bloody was drawn.
