SPENCER
" This can't be...where do i even begin, how am i gonna tell my wife??" These are the thoughts I have right after the call I had with Jordan.

Just got home from practice and I finally walk through the door. My heart is pounding, I'm numb. I hate seeing my wife in distraught. But I guess I don't have a choice. I have to be the one that's gonna break it to her.

"Hey kids where's mommy?" I say as I walk through the door spotting my nine year olds and 6 year old watching tv.

"Mom dad MOM, she's not mommy" Mattie responds with an attitude. Well will you look at that the sweetest baby has some how turned bad. Oh how the tables have turned.

"Hi daddy she's upstairs" naya responds and walks up to me to give me a hug.

"Hmmm how's daddy's favourite girl doing" i say as I give her a warm hug. Stalling cause I'm dreading the conversation I have to have with my wife soon.

" I'm good, well actually I need money and mom said I must ask you so here I am" she says with a cheeky smile.

"She's the boss, I'll send you the money later. Remind me please" and I make my way upstairs.

I get to our bedroom and place my bags down in front of the door. "It's okay, its okay" i try to convince myself and I take a deep breath and finally open the door.

My beautiful wife is dead asleep and I feel really bad cause I am about to shake her whole world. She doesn't deserve this.

"Baby" i softly whisper in her ear while giving her kisses on her cheek.

She moves a bit and then goes back to sleep. "Babe come on wake up" and I wrap my arms around her waist, shifted her body and laid her head on my chest and pulled her up into a seated position leaning against me.

"10 more minutes please" she begs.

My hear breaks for her cause she's not aware of the news I have for her. I rock her back and forth, while caressing her. " wake up baby we need to talk"

"Can't this wait till later" she asks in a sleepy voice .

"No my love it can't. But i need you to be fully awake and conscious "

"Im up geeze" she says as she turns around to peck my chest".

"Jordan has been trying to get ahold of you but he couldn't so he ended up having to tell me so I could tell you"

"What?? Simone is pregnant again??" She asks as a joke and I look at her sadly.

" Liv..." I say in a very low tone and I can see she's now finally getting with the program and can see that I'm being serious.

"Spencer what's going on" she asks with a concerned facial expression.

" I don't know how yo say this but your mom was involved In a car accident" and I squeezed her tighter.

Shocked she keeps quiet for a while and digests what I just told her. "What??.. is she okay what are we doing her we're supposed to be at the hospital" she says panicking and she tries to get up but I keep her down and hold her as closely to myself as I could.

"Spencer!!! Get...off... me, let me go!!" She says trying to fight me.

"Baby, it was a fatal accident...she's gone" and I choke up. I feel the tears forming in my eyes.

She gets up and chuckles. Once, twice, three times. Then from there she dies of laughter. Which slowly turns into crying.

I walk closer to her and she moves back. " you're lying...there's no way"

"Liv please" I grab her arm and pull her into a hug. And the wall broke loose.

"No...Spencer no this can't be" she sobs. And then screams "noo!!". In that moment I know there's nothing I can do or say that's gonna help my wife. My heart shatters into a million pieces. And I just hug her while she sobs.

Slowly I pulled us to the bed again, laid down on my back and placed her onto of my and just wrapped my arms around her shacking body. Caressing her back and tried to calm her down.

"Daddy, is mommy okay?"

"She's gonna be okay baby don't open the door, go watch tv we'll be with you right now okay"

"Okay!"

" I'm sorry baby, I'm so sorry, I love you so much I wish I could take all the pain away from you" I say while rubbing her back. She's still crying and she's not responding. I kiss her head multiple times and just kept assuring her.
