Stuck

What?

Will opens the door to the room that he thought looked the friendliest, realizing that there was another human alive in the Upside down. When he got closer to them he sees that it is the girl that he had met about a week ago. He thinks about the fact that Kayla has probably been here for longer than he has and that's why she looks so tired and beat up. 

When Will's senses come back he rushes over to Kayla, quickly sneaking her pulse to make sure that she is still alive. He feels her pulse and then he starts to check her body, seeing that there are a lot of cuts and bruises all over her body, proving that she was probably taken a few days before he was. When

Will deemed himself safe for now and drifted off to sleep right next to Kayla knowing that when she woke up that he was going to get attacked by a pillow or two because she didn't know he was there and he didn't wake her up and tell her.

When Kayla woke up she scans the room hearing a soft snore. She looks down and sees William Byers, a boy she had met right before she. got pulled into this messed-up replica of Hawkins, Indiana. Kayla grabs her pillow silently, making sure that if she were to swing it would hit him and maybe hurt a star bit. When she did swing the pillow she was surprised to see that Will was still, in fact sleeping. 

With a smile on her face, Kayla crawls off of her bed and decided to fully swing the pillow to land her second hit. She then decides that she isn't close enough to make a lot of damage so she crawls next to him and starts to swing the pillow, hitting him many times, but not making any noise. Kayla knows that as long as the two are in good shape, the monster wouldn't be able to kill them.

Will wakes up while Kayla is still swinging so he starts to whisper for her to stop. When Kayla does stop he sees the large grin plastered on her face, although he knows that they shouldn't be happy when they are in what seems to be an entirely different dimension. 

Will looks at Kayla, the smile on his face falling as if it wasn't there at all and he asks the question he's been wanting to ask since he saw Kayla sleeping peacefully in her bed. "Hey, Kayla why are you here I thought you were sick at your house?"

 Kayla looks at him with a confused look on her face and with a questioning tone in her voice she says " I never made it all the way to my house before I was like gulped into this place and I thought that it would be kind of nice to just I've in the house I used to live in just that in another world."

"ok so just checking in, I want to clear up the fact that I don't think you know that there is a  giant monster that has been roaming around, and by the looks of it, you never saw it so you probably don't even know what's going on..." will start with a flabbergasted look on his face being absolutely dazzled by the fact that you aren't very scared of the monster despite the fact that she is just now knowing this, he starts to mumble under his breath and unfortunately for him Kayla gets scared and starts to shake him violently knowing that she might be able to knock some sense into him if she gives him a mild concussion.

When the two start to let the fact that they are probably in an alternate dimension that is only filled with monsters, is probably going to be at least 10x more dangerous, and is probably going to be the reason that they were going to die they quieted down thinking that if they let it sink in it will all just be some sick nightmare and not the sad truth that they wanted to desperately save to remain calm and collected. 

"I think we should find a way to ensure our safety like making it so that we can be entirely quiet and to make sure that neither of us makes a loud enough ruckus that we can survive with the monsters here... at least until we know people are going to be able to find us, that is if they can find an actual way into this screwed up world that we are in at the moment." Kayla had a determined look on her face knowing that if she were to stay here that she had to have rules that would keep her and any others that got stuck in the upside down or out of the upside down alive. for some reason she knew that she had a porous that she had to serve in the upside down so she couldn't back down to the risk and challenge knowing full well that this could risk her life and maybe save many others. it was almost as if something was drawing her to make sure that everyone else was going to be ok.

Kayla, the girl that was usually quiet and weak knew that she had a porous other than just being the pretty little girl that always got bullied or abused by the guys in the school, she knew that one day she was going to have to defend herself and make sure that anyone else that was in harm's way here was going to be safe.  

while Kayla's pep talk was going on in her head Will just wanted to know what was going on with his friend whom he was starting to see more and more as a sister as the hours progressed, he wanted to know what was going on in that very weird but smart head of hers. it took Will about a minute before he snapped out of it and tried to stop Kayla from daydreaming. he snapped his fingers, waved his hand in front of her face, and even started to lightly pinch her cheek like a grandma just to wake her. about 4 minutes into the pinching on the cheek technique Kayla woke up from her daydreaming and whispered sorry about the fact that she had just kind of started daydreaming about what her purpose was to be in the upside down, not believing that it was just peer coincidence. 

" well I guess it's okay as long as I don't put so much pressure on myself, anyways can you find me a notebook and something to write with so that I can make the rules about the plans and how we should counter the monster that is probably stalking around the area to hear us and to lure us out. we need to outwit them in the first place so that we can get out of this damned place that we don't even want to be in. when we get back home I want to go to the pool or something to make sure that before the summer ends that I can actually get in a good swim to make sure that I don't gain too much weight over the winter." Kayla ways with a determined look at the beginning but just ended up joking at the end, to lighten the mood so that nobody would be too depressed in the dangerous situation that they would be in to be solved.
