Those Were Our Inner Demons

Not the only one Jessica's POV

(After school I went home and did my homework with my sister Jennifer and then went to bed ready for the day to finally end, but then that's where it got weird.) (I awoke in a completely black place just like the one Damian explained in his dream, and when I began to look around I saw two figures ,one was running from one while the other was firing what looked to be skulls that were on fire.) (I quickly ran towards the figure that was being shot at and when I got next to it I saw that it was Desmond but he didn't seem to notice me being next to him and when I looked back I saw a skull flying right at his back so I jumped in front of it attempting to save him.) (It was no use because when I jumped in front of it, it fazed right through me as if it wasn't real, but when I looked back at Desmond I saw that he was on the ground in pain and unable to move anymore.) (It then had finally hit me that the skull was real but not me which made me confused because Damian said that when he called for Desmond he looked over, but if that's true then why didn't he seem to notice me when I was right next to him?) (I saw that the figure was about to grab Desmond but before he could my dream had ended.)

(When I woke up I knew that Sarah would finally believe us now since I saw Des in my dream as well.)

Time Skip-Lunch period
(I talked to Sarah while I waited for Damian to get to the cafeteria so I could tell them about my dream.) "Jess is there something wrong you've been acting weird today?" No, but I do have to tell you and Damian something when he..oh wait there he is. Finally your here Damian I have to talk to you two about something come on! (We walked out into the hallway like last time so we could talk.) 'Ok Jessica so what is it you wanted to talk to us about?' I had a dream with Desmond in it! *Both* What!! 'Wait a minute you had a dream with Desmond in it just like me!' Yeah but this time he was being chased by someone. 'That must've been Skullz.' Wait you mean the person Desmond was talking to in your dream?! 'Yep' "So that confirms our suspicions Skullz really isn't the good guy." 'I'm afraid so.' (He said as he point his eyes downward with a frown.) Well then we definitely can't be waiting around anymore now can we?! 'Your right Jess we can't we need to save Desmond as soon as possible before anything bad happens to him.' "But you said that one of us has to go back into that dream state and I'm not doing that after all that has happened."

'Ok we understand if you don't want to do it but we do still need you ok?' "Ok but for what?" 'Well when me and Jess go into the "Dream State" I need you to be watching over us and make sure nothing happens in the real world that could potentially wake us up.' "Why what could happen if you wake up to early?!" 'Well you see if we wake up to early then I could be trapped in Limbo and she could be trapped in her dream which could in terms trap her in Limbo as well.' "What!" "No I can't let you two go in there not with that risk!" Sarah please I know it's scary to think about but think about what could happen to Desmond if we don't take that risk. "But Jess I can't lose you too." (I looked Sarah in the eyes and told her.) You not going to lose me not as long as I'm breathing. (I said with a hopeful smile.) "Ok then when can we start?" 'It'll take me some time to think about how we're going to go about this so I'd say tomorrow after school should work.' "Ok well I guess I'll talk to you guys tomorrow." 'Ok bye.' (We all said bye and with that the bell rang for us to go to our next class.)

Same Day After School
(After school I was sitting in the bathtub and slowly felt myself begin to drift to sleep.) (I awoke to be in an abandoned house so I got up and started to search for someone that might be in the house with me, but to no luck did I find anyone all I found was an old wardrobe that was upstairs in the master bedroom.) (I walked up to it and began to open it when I heard a loud noise come from downstairs so I quickly turned around and ran towards it hoping that it was a person but when I got down there, there wasn't anyone to be seen.) (As I was beginning to go back upstairs to see the wardrobe I heard another noise that was coming from upstairs now so like last time I ran towards it knowing that this time it wouldn't have anywhere to go, but I was very wrong because when I got up there, there wasn't anyone again but I did notice that the wardrobe was completely opened now which sent chills down my spine.) (I instantly went cold when I realized that I was able to feel things, because that meant the I wasn't sleeping at all and that this was all really happening. I was frozen in place when I finally noticed the lay out of the house that I was in, it was my house!) What is this place! How did I get here! Wasn't I asleep! (I shouted out all these questions to myself.) (I then went into a minor panic attack but was interrupted when I heard something call my name from the wardrobe.) (I slowly crept into the master bedroom where it was and saw a figure walk into the wardrobe and close behind it. I second guessed going any closer but I knew that if I wanted answers to my questions then I needed to follow it.) (I made my way closer to the wardrobe and when I reached for the handle it swung open and I was pulled into it.
