Those Were Our Inner Demons

The OverLord of Limbo Desmond's POV

(I knew that it had to be done when I gave Damian my Soul and Mind or else Damian would've died as well.) (I trusted Damian and knew that he would do anything to bring me back from this awful place, and then one day something happened.) (I was wondering through the city hoping to find a way to get out of this world but then I saw something flying around and when it got closer it went through me and create what I thought was a fake image of Damian but it turned out to be the Inner Demon of Damian, Skullz.) (I instantly knew that he was created when Damian decided to help me when Rain and Winter were trying to make him take control of me.) (I then began to have a discussion with Skullz about why he came out of my body instead of being inside of Damian and it turned out that he was suppose to be but that the "Lords" had other plans for me and my friends and that they weren't going to pass up the opportunity to be in the real world and rule it.) (I questioned that thought because in the real world nobody has powers like they do in the Dream world, but it has been said that some people can somehow use their Dream world powers in the real world which made me think that maybe me and my friends were those rare people that can use their powers in the real world.) (I was about to ask him another question when I saw him charging a power and it threw me off because I thought that in Limbo you couldn't use powers.) (I knew that I wouldn't be able to use mine because I was no longer the Soul and Mind of my own body and since Damian wasn't in the same world as me we wouldn't be able to share powers, so I was forced to have to run and as I was running I faintly heard my name being called from a far so I looked to see if there was anything and there wasn't.) (I kept running away from Skullz no matter what and as I was running I felt some kind of presence next to me as if to be running with me.) (I wasn't paying attention to the fiery skulls that Skullz was throwing at me when one of them hit me in the back making me unable to move anymore from the pain and exhaustion, I looked up to see Skullz bending down and picking me up from the ground and that's when I blacked out.)

(I woke up to hear Skullz talking to someone and when I listened carefully I could hear what they were saying.) 'Skullz I need you to go get the girl she is essential to our escape understood?' "Yes Lord Darkness I shall go capture the girl and bring her back here." 'Good now GO!' (When they were done talking I quickly moved so he couldn't tell that I was awake but it didn't work.) "I see your awake, that probably means you heard all that huh?" (I glared at him nodding my head.) "Good I'd rather you know what's about to happen because then it makes you remember that you can't do anything." (He smirked at the end of his sentence and then disappeared into a black cloud of smoke.) (While he was gone I thought about how Damian could get me, and realized that the only way was to re-enter Limbo and try to search for me.) (Now knowing this I knew that he must've knew that it would be dangerous, but knowing Damian and my friends I knew that they would save me....they would right?) (It wasn't even 30 minutes until Skullz was back with Jessica in his arms. He dropped her on the ground next to me, and I immediately crouched next to her making sure that she was fine.) What did you do to her! "Don't worry she's fine she's just unconscious from being taken from the dream world to Limbo without dying first." But that's not possible without something from the real world that's hers. "I know that's why I made her dream inside of her house so I could find something and use it as a portal." That's not possible to control what someone's dream is going to be. "Oh yeah then how do you think Rain did it to all of you?" (I gasp realizing what he meant.)

Wait you mean Rain was working with... 'Me yes she was and oh was she a good warrior but at last she just wasn't completely ready for you and Damian's strength.' (I began to feel myself tremble at the sight of this man but I didn't know why.) Where do I remember you from? 'Ah I see you lost that part of your memory or was it Damian that knows me, anyway it goes I'd like to keep it that way, and for now you can just call me Lord Darkness.' How do you know Damian?! 'Yep it was Damian that knows me, but don't worry very soon here you'll remember me.' What do you mean? 'Well you see your friend and Damian are on there way right now as we speak.' But Skullz just got Jessica about 10 minutes ago. 'Yes you're right but in Limbo time moves much slower than it does in the Dream World, for instance 10 minutes in Limbo equals 1 whole day in the Dream World where as 30 minutes equals 1 whole day in the Real World, but don't hurt your brain trying to figure it all out ok.' "Lord Darkness, Damian is creating the portal in the Dream World shall I go now?" 'Yes and hurry it'll take you at least a couple of minutes to get to him.' (Skullz nodded his head and then jumped out of the window turning into a stream of black smoke.)

'So Desmond this is what's going to happen, after Skullz has beaten Damian to almost death point Damian will be forced to do the Soul and Mind swap and just before your powers are returned back to you I'll enter your body making me the Soul and Mind of your body.' Oh My God I remember now YOU'RE THE ONE WHO KILLED MY PARENTS! 'Yep and now you finally remember.' (After that I heard a huge explosion far away). 'Oh looks like I should get ready, now sit still and don't move!' (Just before I could get up and run I was pulled back down by what looked like bloody vines that were coming from the ground and the wall that were restraining my arms, legs, and waist.) (Just within moments I saw the sky light up and a stream of light fly towards me but at the exact time I saw Lord Darkness fly into me as well.) (Just before I lost control of my body I felt an immense surge of pure darkness come out of my body making the entire top of the building explode.)

Now Darkness
Shall Prevail!

Sorry I haven't updated in a couple days I've just been to busy to update and finish this chapter but don't worry I'm going to try and keep up on it.
