Those Were Our Inner Demons

Was that you Desmond?! Damian's POV

(When I "woke up" in my dream I immediately noticed that I was in a completely black world with nothing but a figure in the distance. I began to walk towards the figure so I could get a better look at it, but before I could get close enough a ball of darkness went through it creating another figure in front of the other. I started to piece together that this wasn't a dream and that I was in a completely different world so I tried to not get spotted by the figures and tried to listen to what they were saying, but I could only hear a couple of things.

(No way *****! That shouldn't be possible! That's because I'm not *****, my name is Skullz!). (After that I couldn't make out what they were saying but what began to happen was that Skullz began to use powers as if we were in a dream world, and that's when it finally clicked in me.) This is...Limbo! (After I realized that I was in Limbo I quickly began to run towards the figure that Skullz was attacking, but before I got to it I started to wake up so I yelled out Desmond's name hoping for it to turn around, and just before I woke up I faintly saw it turn around and I saw...his face.)

(I awoke to hear my alarm going off so I got up and got ready for school, it was going to be my first day going to school and I finally understood why Desmond would get nervous. I knew now that I needed to talk to Jess and Sarah about my dream and how I might have seen Desmond.)

Time Skip-6th period
(I got into the lunch room and quickly found Jessica and Sarah sitting at a table together with a couple of friends that I didn't know so I felt a bit odd asking them to come with me so I could tell them everything and I could tell that they didn't like that either.) "What do you want De..Damian!?" I've been wanting to talk to you two about all this and that I also have to tell you about my dream that I had last night. 'Damian we have nothing to talk and neither do we care to hear about your stupid dream, come on Jess!' Please don't you want to know what happen to Desmond! "Damian we already know what happen to him we saw it with our own eyes!" No I mean what happen to him in my dream. 'Psst you didn't have a dream about him you're probably just trying to make us feel bad for you or make us feel upset again, but you know what it's not gunna work not now not ever!' But he's in trouble! "What! What kind of trouble?!" 'Jess don't fall for it he's just trying to mess with you it's what he does.' "Oh yeah well how do you know that, he could be telling the truth and your just ignoring that!?" 'Ugh fine go ahead and tell us what you saw in your dream.'

(After I got done telling them what I saw in my dream I could tell that Jess was interested in finding out more, but Sarah was still reluctant to believe me.) "So Damian you really think there's a way to save Desmond from Limbo?" Yes, if I'm correct when ever I go to sleep I have a chance to help or even save Des from Limbo, but the only problem is that in order to do this I would need one of you to be in that sleep trance that your Inner Demons put you two into last time. 'Wait a minute your telling us that we need to be in the same sleep state that we were in in order to free Desmond from Limbo?!' Sadly yes because if you remember the portal can only open in that type of sleep state that's why the Inner Demons would put you guys into that state. 'No way am I going into that place again!' Jess? "If it means getting my best friend back then I'll do anything." (She smiled at me and I smiled back knowing that everything was going to be back to normal in no time.)
