Those Were Our Inner Demons

This is Limbo Damian's POV

(When I stepped through the portal I entered a completely empty city that seemed to be in ruins.) (It confused me at first because in the dreams we all were in the same place, a completely dark place that has no light and being unable to see any further then your hand.) (I thought that maybe that's what Limbo looks like in a dream but when you go into the actual portal to Limbo it looks like this.) (Having that in mind now I decided that I would begin my long journey to finding our friends and taking them back home.)

1 Limbo Hour Later
(It felt like forever before I found any traces of Desmond or Jessica but when I finally did I knew that it wouldn't be long before I found them.) (I began to notice some buildings that were from the real world that were here like, The Eiffel Tower, The Empire State Building, and The Statue Of Liberty; it seemed odd because that would mean that whoever has been here for that long would be able to use powers in order to create all of them which made me think that maybe in this world you can use powers and magic just like in the Dream World.)

(It had bugged me so much that I stopped in the middle of walking and I tried to use my powers and when I did I got a big surprise.) Well here goes nothing. Darkness....(but before I could finish my move a huge blade came down from the sky, and along with it..) Skullz! "Nice to see you too my "old friend" did you like my new move I learned? I call it Blood Blade!" So I am in Limbo then huh? "Yep isn't it lovely?" "You know I'm not the one who built these structures." Wait so who did then? "I'll give you a little hint, they're your friends." (I gasp when hearing that.) Where are they! "Ha you expected me to just tell you that?" Nope I expected you to tell me after I beat the living crap out of you. "Wow you are really funny, you think you can beat me I'd like to see you try!" (After that he began charging one of his moves, but then it hit me I never checked to see if I could even use my powers here. I knew that he could use his only because he's from here.) (So I quickly made an attempt at using my powers.) "Blood Arrow!" Darkness Shield...(But it was to late before I saw his Blood Arrow coming straight for me.) (I quickly dodged it but it still managed to skim my leg making me flinch.) (I tried again to use another one of my moves but for some reason I was always slower than him.) "Ha I guess he was right you humans are slower in this world." What who is "he"? "Someone that you will all learn about soon after I catch you." I don't think so! "Blood Blade!" Darkness Scythe! "No!" (After that I knew that I was able to use my powers as well, seeing a nice sleek Purplish Black Scythe form in front of me. I smirked at the sight of it.) Now it's time to really play!

(As me and Skullz fought I could slowly feel myself getting a bit stronger with each successful hit I'd land on him, but at the same time I could sense him getting stronger with each hit he'd lay on me which made it very difficult to finish him.) "Blood Absorption!" (As he finished his sentence I saw him grow sharp claws that he began to swing at me.) Darkness Shield! "No use!" (He was right it was no use because as my shield went up his claws went right through it piercing into my left arm, making me yell in pain.) "Now I have you right were I need you." (He dug his claw farther into my arm making me start to get nauseous and dizzy from the lost of blood that he was absorbing.) "Any minute now and you'll pass out and then you'll be right back where you're suppose to be." Oh yeah and where's that? "Back in my body." W..what! "Oh yeah that's right you don't remember do you?" Remember what, what are you?! "I'm your Inner Demon." (He smirked at me which sent shivers down my spine but I knew that if he's my Inner Demon then I couldn't let myself pass out or else he'll take over my body which means that Desmond would die.) If your my Inner Demon then how come I don't remember you? (I said while pulling my arm away from him, jumping back, and holding it.) "Because when you made me you didn't realized it until just now."

(As I was standing there I thought about what he had said but my train of thought was cut off when my vision began to get a bit blurry, but then it hit me on what I could do.) (Since I'm in the same world as Desmond if he's close enough then I can do a "Soul and Mind" power like how Desmond did to me so I thought about it for a second and decided that it might be the only other choice I have in order to save Desmond.) (Here goes nothing I thought to myself.) Desmond I give you back your Mind and Soul! "No you don't! (But it was to late for Skullz to stop it because as he charged at me I no longer felt the ability to keep my eyes open and the ability to use my powers anymore, but before I finally passed out I saw a building explode
and I saw Desmond jump from it with Jessica in his arms.) (I smiled as I felt the last of my will to stay awake slip away.)
