Epilogue

'Daddy, Robert and Rowan are doing it again!' The six year old girl said running up to her father.

She had dark hair just like him but the curliness and kind face of her mother. Tony scooped up the small girl into his arms and carried her to where her twin sister and older brother were playing.

'Robert, why don't you play with your sister rather than break her creations?' He asked raising his brow to the ten year old boy standing in front of him.

Robert rolled his chocolaty brown eyes before walking up to his little sister.

'I'm sorry I broke your suit, Brooklyn.'

The child in Tony's arms nodded and hugged her brother as the other twin, Rowan, watched.

'Brooky, can you show me how to do that?' She asked shyly pointing to the mini Iron Man suit she had created.

Brooklyn nodded vigorously as he father set her down on the ground before she ran over to show her siblings.

'I'm home!' A voice called from the elevators.

Robert pushed past his dad and ran towards Bri.

'Mom, can I go to Uncle Clint's house for dinner? Johnny got this really cool bow and arrow set and he said I could try it!' He said excitedly.

'I'm really sorry Robbie but Steve and Tegan are coming over tonight.' She said hanging her keys on the rack.

Robert sighed before perking up again.

'Can you ask Steve to bring his shield? I've been testing moves out with mine!'

'Is that how my office door got a dent?' Tony said walking into the room with a smirk.

Robert looked down guiltily until the elevator doors opened.

'We're early!' Tegan said smiling.

'My man!' Steve said getting Robert into a headlock.

He struggled against it until the twins ran into the room.

'Uncle Steve!' Brooklyn said happily running into his arms.

He easily scooped her up and brought Rowan with her. Robert gave Tegan an embarrassed hug before turning back to Steve.

'You didn't bring your shield, did you?' He asked sadly.

'I always do.' Steve said setting the twins down and pulling his shield out of nowhere.

'How does he always do that?' Bri whispered to Tony as he wrapped an arm around her.

'Daddy, can we show Steve and Tegan our dance?' Brooklyn asked Tony wtih wide eyes.

He looked down at her then smiled warmly.

'Of course, dear.'

She skipped to her room happily before coming back wearing a princess dress.

'Daddy, come here.' She said leading him to the seating room.

Bri sat next to Robert who was warming up to the idea of staying every second. Steve was sitting with Rowan on his lap and his arm around Tegan's shoulder. Tony gave a grin to them all as Brooklyn turned on the music.

'This is Daddy and Brook dancing to Beauty and the Beast.' She said proudly.

They started the dance and everyone cheered. This is the way that like should be, filled with joy, family and friends. Bri learned that even if you start out hating someone you need to give them a chance to show who they really are. Tegan on the other hand learned she could make a ten year old boy blush uncontrollably just by looking at him.

'I love you.' Tony said sitting next to Bri and giving her a kiss.

'Ew, Daddy kissed Mommy!' Rowan said giggling.

'Now I'll need to give you a kiss.' Steve said kissing her cheek causing her to squirm.

Tegan kissed Robert on the forehead causing him to go scarlet and Brooklyn gave both of her parents a kiss. Sometimes dreams really do come true.
