Chrysanthemum symbolizes life and rebirth in Asia. A perfect flower to represent a new life or reincarnation.

However in Christianity, it is associated with grief and All Saint's day, a day where people visit their loved one's graves and offer food and maybe even flowers to them.

It was All Saint's Day, a woman was praying to a loved one, Chrysanthemums and a container with apples, grape and mangoes. The container was sealed properly so no ants could eat the food. A candle was lit in front of the grave

The woman kneeled down, praying.

When she finished, she simply stood on her feet, taking her things and leaving the cemetary.
