Four men stepped into the Briggs Fort as a worker asked Miles, "So, what's the deal with these guys?" "They showed up saying they were here to escort Ms. Rockbell but I'm not buying that. They only answer to Kimblee." 'He's got some kind of plan for us here...but what?'

-The First Homunculus-

"You should have told me you two were heading to the North." Winry stated as she had finished Ally's leg and started working on Ed's arm. "Sorry, but we didn't get a chance. We were in a hurry." Aaliyah stated as Winry said, "And when are you not in a hurry? Anyway, what'd you two do to get locked up?" "It's only a misunderstanding. I'll have it taken care of in no time." Kimblee stated with a smile. "Thanks a lot, Mr. Kimblee. These three are lucky to have someone like you watching over them." "It's nothing..." Ed tugged on Winry's wrench as Ally and she leaned in close. "Listen, I wouldn't trust Kimblee if I were you." "Huh? Why? He seems nice..." Winry trailed off.

"Ms. Rockbell? Is it true your parents lost their lives helping people during the war?" Kimblee asked Winry as they were on their way to Briggs Fort. "That's right..." she looked down sadly. "I thought so... I was part of the group that went to recover their bodies." Winry glanced over to him as he continued, "We were dispatched to help them...but it was too late by the time we got there. I'm sorry..." "Thank you for trying..." she stated, looking down again.

"They stayed true to their duty and helped the needy right until the end. I respect their bravery. I wish I could've had the chance to meet them." Winry's eyes seemed that they would spill tears at any moment that is until Kimblee said, "They were holding a picture of a little girl when we found them and I knew right away it was they're daughter. The thoughtof you kept them strong during most of the war." Winry gave a smile as Kimblee gave one in returnsaying, "It's an honor to meet you."

"Do you have any idea what that psychopath did in Ishval?" Ed stated as he suddenly stopped. 'But what do I know...I only have Lt. Hawkeye's experiences to go on. And she...'

"So when's the wedding? Were you you thinking about having children !"

Ed's glance fell to Aaliyah as he began to blush madly. 'Don't freak out...think about something else...' "Hydrogen,Helium, Lithium, Carbon..." Ed continued to name things off the periodic table. "Um...Ed?" Aaliyah asked as Winry said, "I sometimes wonder what you see in him." She then turned a screw as Ed screamed out in pain. "Ow! What the hell, Winry! I TOLD YOU TO TELL WARN ME WHEN YOU CONNECT THE NERVES, ALRIGHT?!" "Yeah, yeah, now you let do your leg."

"It's so light...it won't be weaker than my last auto-mail, right?" Ed asked. "Not really...it's slightly weaker but I doubt you'll notice." Winry then closed her tool box as Ed punched the air.

Buccaneer stepped into the room as he asked, "Alright, What're you two doing out of your cell?" "I don't know...maybe some people respect the fact that we're State alchemist." "Hmph, finally upgrading for the cold, huh?" "Are you upgrading to?" Aaliyah asked as Winry began to fan girl. "M19 Mad Bear lightweight combat model!" "Whoa, What kind of reinforcement is thta on the claws? They're not diamond tipped, are they?" Buccaneer blushed for a moment before saying, "Yeah. She'sfully modified. It's a specially crafted model." "Edward! Do you want me to upgrade you to one of these?!"

"Not my style!" Ed shouted. "Who's the girl? She's too cute to be hangin' around you." "She's our mechanic." Buccaneer looked from Aaliyah to Winry as he growled. Buccaneer's mechanic stepped from behind the curtain, only to see him claw Ed. "What'd you do that for?!" Ed yelled as Buccaneer slammed the door open. "Because life isn't fair!" he then slammed the door shut.
