Chapter 3 (Arrival)

Once she had buried the body of her mother she had began to pray "Mother I hope you safely made it to heaven. I hope that when I die we will meet again in a better place with you, dad and Nezuko." With her prayer to her mother over she went inside to fetch a bag full of her belongings and things she will need to make the somewhat long trip. Sumiko had gotten her things and was ready to head out when she realized she needed to somehow bring along Nezuko. So she went to their shed and had made a makeshift trailer for her brother made of a small pullable wagon their dad bought for them and many blankets put on top with that she had set off during the day to find the legendary Sakonji Urodaki.

"Ugh why is this old man so far away from my house?" the young girl had groaned in her mind. Her brother had not woken up since the encounter with Hashimoto Shigeru and she was very worried she would periodically move into shade and make sure that her makeshift carriage had not fallen apart during their travels. 

Sumiko had just traveled and traveled until it had became night and she wondered if Nezuko would awaken at night and be active during the day. Sadly she was wrong as she peeked into the makeshift carriage to see her sound asleep brother. "He did always look cute while he was sleeping" she whispered to herself.

"Hello little one. Are you perhaps alone this evening?" Said a very imposing and masculine voice from behind. Sumiko whipped her head around with speed and saw a very large man who must have been at least two feet taller than Hashimoto"Oh i'm sorry I didn't mean to startle you. Hi my name is Himejima Gyomei you seem to be alone." Sumiko had felt somewhat calm in his presence as if anything had happened or a demon had arrived she would be safe. "Uhm no i'm actually here with my brother. I don't know if you know who Sakonji Urodaki may be but i'm trying to reach him." Sumiko had said weakly as she was tired and half asleep. "Oh so you must be the girl with the demon brother correct?"

Sumiko had flinched at this statement how did this seemingly ordinary man find out she was carrying a man eating demon. She had decided that she would answer his question truthfully "Yes I am the one who is with the demon. But he has been asleep since we departed from my home." Well if you didn't know I am the Stone Hashira of this generation and the strongest out of the demon slayers so you will be safe in my presence. Infact I could make you my Tsuguko and you could become a very promising backup Hashira."

The young girl had no idea of what a Hashira is and honestly did not care. "I'm so sorry I'll have to decline and could you explain what a Hashira is and the Demon Slayers is?" she had asked the man. "Of course I can tell you what the Corps is and things like that." the man had said with a disappointing tone in his voice. Gyomei had made a motion for them to follow him into a small ramen shop. "Uhm excuse me miss you cannot have animals in here" said the owner. "Oh im sorry its not a animal its my brother he's just asleep right now. Is it ok if I can keep him in here because the wheels are a bit muddy and they might track some mud in here."

 The shop owner could do absolutely nothing against her adorable face and the fact she was pulling her brother in a carriage. "No worries! its fine and if your going to eat here I can just give it to you for free so please do enjoy!" the man said with a excited tone. "No its all fine I can pay some man gave me an excessive amount of money so im completely fine with paying." Sumiko said adamantly. " No I could never charge a girl as cute as you even if you have enough money!" said the man. "Oh well if you put it that way then thank you very much!" Sumiko said as she bowed to the man.

"So now about the Demon Slayers and ranks and the Hashira work" Gyomei had began to explain to the girl. After about 3 hours of explanation and around 12 and half bowls of noodles that Gyomei had mostly ate. "I do thank you for the explanation and all but could you accompany me to Sakonji's Home?" Gyomei looked at his wrist and then looked through a notebook he had on him. "Sure I have enough time before my Hashira meeting Infact I may just bring you with me." Gyomei said as if he was asking a question.

Sumiko from listening to Gyomei talk about the Hashira and things like that she had almost fallen asleep. She mumbled a sort of affirmation to following Gyomei to his meeting which she did not care about. "Perfect then I'll send my crow to get Sakonji to meet up with us there. Sound good to you little miss?" Sumiko was knocked out cold and she and her brother were now fast asleep. Gyomei would have to decide on his own and he had decided to send his crow to tell Sakonji to meet the the Slayers HQ.

Some Amount Of Unspecified Time Later

"Hey do you think she's still alive?" " I dunno don't ask me maybe ask Shinobu?" "Hell no Shinobu is so scary I could never!" "Wait her eyelids are fluttering she's waking up!" "RUN FOR IT!" Sumiko had woken up in the middle of a very soft bed in some sort of hospital and 2 people had run out of the room just as she woke up. She was still pretty drowsy she must have been forced to take some sort of medicine.

"Hey there kiddo how are you feeling?" 2 men had walked into the room she was staying in. "Oh me? i'm doing fine just a little drowsy that's all" Sumiko had said with a large smile. "Well Kocho-Sama will be coming in here to do another checkup with you if that's alright with you" Sumiko didn't know this Shinobu person but they sounded like a girl so it would be nice to finally talk to another girl after a long while. And after she had gotten up she had smelled another sent a girl who smelled of wisteria.

"Moshi Moshi Yoroshīdesu Ka Chīsana Ojōsan?" The smaller girl said while walking up towards them. "OH WOULD YOU LOOK AT THE TIME WELP WE'VE GOTTA GO SEE YA!" they both said in sync as they sprinted out of the room. Sumiko was still not feeling 100% so she just sat back in bed and said. "Oh yeah i'm doing alright I could be alot better though." "Well i'm here to help you so if you could open your mouth for me. Sumiko obliged to the woman who had a strange scent of burning hatred in her heart. Another scent that Sumiko had smelled was just a little outside of the door entered and the man said "Hello there Sumiko I heard you've been looking for me?"

And that will do it for Chapter 3 (Arrival) some of it may be a little weird but I will edit it once I wake up. I kinda wrote it while I was on sleep meds to it was just a little difficult but I hope you enjoyed and always remember to "SET YOUR HEART ABLAZE" wait were not at that part yet uhh if not that then see you lol and I love you good night (As of me writing this) or good moring or good evening.

By the way just incase you wanted to know the reason this took so long to release is 1. School 2. I'm just tired all the time and I can't really focus unless I sit myself down and do it which I have trouble doing. and that's bout it as of writing this it is 1:21 AM and shinobu said "Moshi Moshi Are you alright there little missy?" in Japanese when she walked in. And recently i've started playing ghost of tsushima so I will be able to write better fight scenes. And also I have Tanjiros Katana with Rengoku's hilt on it so I can always remember Kyojuro Rengoku. Anyway i'm gonna head to the sleepy world and i'm still taking suggestions on who or lovely heroine should end up with. I'm kinda voting for like Senemi, Giyuu, Tengen, Inosuke or Kanao for a little spice. With out further adieu Yonde kurete arigatō. Oyasuminasai!
