Mischa's horrendous love song

   Mischa offered to drive me home since I missed my bus while we also talk over a plan.

N: "So what are you giving me to work with?"

M: "Ok so I need help creating a good passionate song for my love. I already have a demo track."

"Your making a track? Aw that's so sweet."

"Want to hear it?"

"Mhm."

With his eyes still on the road, Mischa takes his phone out of his pocket and hands it to me.

"Go on gallery, it's most recent video."

I do what he says and turn the volume up.

To say it was horrible is an understatement..
It was him rapping a love song with mostly lines about money...about how awesome he is and why she should marry him. Which I can understand that this isn't my kind of taste in music, but this song was absolutely horrendous.
He seemed pretty proud of it, he had a smile on his face and everything.

"Uhm, you sure she'll like this theme you have going on?"

"Yes, why wouldn't she? She always gives me mostly positive feedback on my awesome tracks."

"Alright then...it's your proposal I guess. Wait, what do you mean 'mostly' positive?"

"A few times she told me my track sucks ass. I don't think she was serious though."

I feel like everyday God is testing me.

"Oh wow. That's certainly something! I think we may have to rewrite the whole song though."

"Why? It's not perfect but it has some sweet lyrics!"

"Well, rapping about how rich you are in a love song isn't really romantic."

"I though it was. My Talia always seems to enjoy it."

"Maybe she already knows how 'rich and successful' you are so she wants a new kind of music. One without money and auto tune."

"I guess that's not bad idea."

"If your not busy or anything, you can stay at my house for a bit to brainstorm the new lyrics. We need all the time we can get considering the Fair is in a few days."

"Sure why not."

"Do you have a ring to propose to her with?"

"No, I don't have money."
...

"...You just created a song about how rich you are to propose but you can't even afford a ring?" I hold back a laugh

It's almost funny how stupid he acts. I was actually enjoying my time with him.

"Cut me some slack, I'm saving up for ring to give sometime near wedding but for now I'm broke."

I manage to have some self control to hold back my laughter.

M: "Not funny."

"Yeah, sorry." I say with a wide smile still on my face
