Saturday

N: "Ocean, why'd you want us to meet you here?"

O: "I can't tell you yet, not until Mischa's here.

T: "He texted me that he's on his way."

I've become so bored that I've already chipped the some of the nail polish on a couple of my nails. I was trying to restrain myself from doing so because Mischa was the one who painted them but I clearly failed.

Most of the choir class, besides Mischa ofc, have been waiting at the park benches for over 20 minutes. Not even I'm this fashionably late.
It's not like it's super early in the morning either, it's 2pm. But honestly waiting is probably a lot better than what Ocean invited us to the park for.

We finally see a car being parked with a tall figure coming out.

O: "Finally Mischa, what the hell took you so long?"

M: "I live 20 minutes away from this shitty park and also drive a shitty slow car."

O: "Hey, language! Just go sit down."

He sits down next to Talia and puts an arm around her shoulder.

O: "Now, you all must be super curious to why I told you guys to meet me here-"

N: "-Gee, wonder where you got that from."

O: "Do not interrupt me. Anyways, considering the fact that with the song itself, I don't think we're going to win, I feel it's best if we add some choreography to our performance."

Constance and Penny start to clap

M: "Do we have to? I am not doing that."

T: "Me neither, I don't even know how to dance."

O: "Yes Mischa, you're doing it. Father Marcus even recommended it. And Talia, that is why we're here at the park!"

N: "Wait what?! I'm not dancing in the middle of a park. You couldn't find any other place?"

C: "I'm all in for the adding dance moves..but I agree with Noel. I don't want to practice dancing in front of all these people."

O: "That's exactly why I chose the park! We need to get used to dancing in front of a lot of people. We don't need anyone get stage fright."

N: "I doubt that anyone at the fair would want to watch us preform."

O: "Noel, that bad attitude brings this choir down! Your the reason we got second place last year! Now, me and Constance will be in front while Talia and Penny are on the sides. The boys will be in back."

P: "What about Ricky? What's he gonna do?"

O: "Ricky gets in between Noel and Mischa. He can't sing or dance, but that's fine. He just needs to stand there and smile."

Ricky gets in between me and Mischa, but he doesn't smile. Just like the rest of us, he doesn't want to be here.

...

We were at the park doing these goofy dances for about 50 minutes. By the time we were finally finished with our moves memorized, there were around 13 little kids who couldn't have been older than 9, sitting down in front of us, who have been watching for almost the entire time. They were pretty bummed out when Constance told them we were finished.

O: "Did you guys see those little kids faces when we danced? We are so gonna crush the competition!"
