Choir Class

   The bell rang and I force myself out of the stall to go to my next class, choir. Everyday I despise going to choir because my arch nemesis, Ocean O Connell Rosenberg. The weird thing is, me and her used to be really close friends in middle school, but during freshman year, she met Constance and ditched me for her. Probably because it was easier to boss her around than me.
Poor Constance.

   Although there are some other nice people like Penny, Natalia and Ricky, the bad (or annoying) basically outweighs the good. The only reason I even joined in the first place was so I didn't have to join band. I don't have any talent in that area.

   The choir classroom isn't that far from the boys bathroom but since I'd like to spend the least amount of time there as possible I make sure I get there a few seconds before the tardy bell rings.

"So nice for you to join us Noel!" Ocean remarks as soon as I open the door.

   I scoff and take a seat in my usual spot in between Natalia and Mischa. They used to sit right beside each other but Ocean had to separate them by putting me in the middle to make sure they don't start kissing the whole period. So I was left being the one who had to deal with their lovey-dovey shit.

I heard Mischa only joined because he stole three boxes of communion wine for his cousin in the fourth grade.
I guess Talia joined in support of him.

"Hey Noel, can you pass this note to Mischa?"

"Your not even that far from him. Just reach over and do it yourself."

"It's more romantic this way. Please Noel just do it!"

"Fine."

I reached over and to take the note, tapped on the zoning out Mischa's back to get his attention, and gave him the small piece of paper. I took a glance at the note and saw it had "я тебе люблю" written on it. I've seen them pass these words so many times so each other I once googled it. Now I know it means I love you. I cringe at those words.

Mischa reads it and gives a confused look.

"...I do not like you like that Noel."

"What? No you idiot, that's from Natalia!"

"Oh sorry."

   He gives a look of admiration to his "sweet sweet Talia" and begins to write a note of his own. No matter how many times I try to deny it to myself, I'm actually jealous of their relationship. Their just so full of love it's so disgustingly wholesome. If I didn't want a dramatic relationship with a man who would drive me to drink, this would be the next best thing. I've never even kissed a guy let alone date one.
