During those few minutes, Max remained perfectly still in that location as he watched Aiden go up and over the hill. He went through a range of emotions, like anger at the thought of leaving his guide and excitement about the next part of the trip that hadn't started yet.

As he turned to leave, he could hear something rustling in the bushes behind him, and just as he did so, he could turn away from it. He took a moment to reassess the situation before turning around. As soon as he turned around, he noticed a pack of wolves emerging from the thick brush. He was shaking in his boots.

"Excuse me, but may I inquire about your name?" Max interrogated them while keeping a wary eye on both of them at the same time.

The alpha of the pack, the biggest of the individuals, came closer.

"Hello, everyone, and thank you for allowing me to introduce myself formally. At this point, we have been watching you and your friend for a long time. During this time, we have observed both of you near one another. We believe that you have some potential that you have yet to fully realize; because of this, we'd be thrilled if you joined our crew.

"We think you have some potential that hasn't been fully realized yet."

Max was taken aback. Before this, he had never even entertained the thought of joining another pack; he had never even considered the possibility. "I can say with complete candor that I do not know." My collection already contains a standard deck of playing cards. Well, I did. My traveling companion and I have parted ways to allow him to proceed on his journey."

Hunter nodded. "I understand. You are still young, and there is a great deal for you to learn about the world around you. We can teach you things that your previous pack was never able to teach you, and the fact that this is the case is a fairly significant development. Take into consideration the consequences of your actions."

Before giving his response, Max gave it some serious thought for a while.

Since he had parted ways with his previous pack, he had experienced a substantial amount of growth on a personal level; however, he was acutely aware that there was still a great deal that he did not comprehend. He had been through this for some time.

A significant amount of personal growth had occurred since he parted ways with his previous group. If he had joined a different pack, he would have been able to continue developing and gaining more knowledge. This is something that could have been possible.

Once everything had been said and done, he responded, "I'll think about it."

Hunter smiled. "Good. You will want to ensure that you meet up with us in the clearing early the following morning at sunrise, so we can transport you to our pack."

As Max watched Hunter and the other wolves disappear into the forest, he gave Hunter and the other wolves an appreciative smile and nod.

Max did not settle on a choice throughout the rest of the day and instead kept mulling over the situation in his head. He was aware that joining a new pack was a significant step; however, he was also aware that doing so would benefit him in various ways, so he decided to proceed.

At precisely the moment when the sun was beginning to go down, he had a sudden insight or comprehension regarding something. He had concluded that the best way to find out where they were going would be to stick with the herd.

In the wee hours of the following morning, Max made it to the clearing just as the sun was beginning to peak over the horizon. Everyone in the wolf pack, including Hunter and the rest of the pack's members, was looking forward to meeting him.

The words "Welcome, Max" were first spoken to Max by Hunter, who was the one who initially greeted Max. "We are overjoyed that you have decided to join our group and count on your participation. If you decide to stay with us, we'll show you to the rest of our pack and ensure you're properly introduced to everyone there."

As Max followed the rest of the group through the forest, he could feel excitement and nervousness beginning to build up inside of him. He was aware that a significant event was about to take place. While they were traveling, he considered what it would be like to join this new pack and what he could learn from the other group members.

They proceeded forward until they reached an open area where a sizable wolf pack awaited them. They welcomed Max with open arms, and at that moment, he realized that he had made the right decision for himself by choosing this path. They welcomed Max with open arms.

Max was able to adjust to his new life with the pack, but he was well aware that this was just the beginning of an entirely new experience for him.

This was just the beginning of an entirely new experience for Max. He couldn't contain his excitement about where this new road would lead him and what kind of wolf he would become. In addition to that, he couldn't wait to find out where he would finally settle down.
