Louis smiled at the sight of his rounding tummy, rubbing the stretched skin repeatedly. he loved seeing the round shape of his baby.

He was almost three months and he was more than excited. he couldn't wait for everyone to see that he was pregnant.

"C'mon baby, we gotta go." harry cooed, standing at the doorway and watching his sub touch his belly. "i like feeling your tummy too but we gotta go."

Louis groaned, pulling down his grey sweater and taking his hand as the two walked downstairs and out of the house.

They got in Harrys fancy car, driving towards the doctors office so they could check on their little flower. the past few days have been really eventful and the two were worried that she was harmed in some way.

"Hi." harry greeted the woman behind the desk, "we have an appointment for 10." He motioned to a distracted louis who was looking at a ball of yarn.

"Just fill out these papers." she handed him the clipboard and a pen attached to the top by a metal chain. he grabbed louis by the arm and dragged him over to the only empty seats in the crowded office.

"Daddy, can i go get it?" He whispered, pointing to the ball that was sitting across the room. all he could think about was playing with it.

"No sweetheart, fill this out for daddy." harry said as he handed him the clipboard. he smiled when louis pouted, filling out the simple questions.

Once he was done, harry went to give it to the woman. louis took this chance to run and grab the ball, getting in his seat before he noticed.

"I saw that." harry mumbled, taking it from him and setting it in the seat beside him.

After a while of pouting and small arguments, they were called inside. the hybrid was nervous more than ever because this doctor was a stranger to him. what if he was aggressive?

"Louis?" The young doctor asked as the two walked in, smiling when he saw the ears seeping through the chestnut hair. "take a seat on the table."

Louis did as he was told, laying on the table that had the annoying paper on it that crinkled every time you moved. Harry stood beside him, holding his hand.

"How many months?" He started, clicking the top of his pen against his clipboard before looking at him.

"Two and a half." he answered, looking down at his belly. he smiled at the roundness that he could feel through the sweater.

"Any pains? Blood?"

His eyes widened at the question. "No, none of that. Im just worried that she isn't okay because a lot of stressful things have been happening between us and i heard that babies can feel everything that their mothers are feeling."

"Shes probably fine but let me just check. please raise your shirt." the man set the board down, walking over to the sonogram machine and grabbing some of the cool liquid that made louis giggle when it is spread on his stomach.

The weird sound filled the room before the doctor cheered when he found the baby. "oh, shes so cute!" He chirped, pointing out the ears and tail that louis wasn't fond of.

They spent a few minutes watching her until he printed out a picture for the couple and turning off the machine.

Louis kept his focus on the picture, clenching his jaw at the sight of the parts he didn't want her to have. Harry talked with the doctor, agreeing with him that louis should be stress free until he has the baby.

"It makes the baby worried." the doctor explained, "it has a bond with its mother um... father and if he is stressed, they both wont feel too good."

Harry nodded, glancing at his sub to see him frowning. he grabbed some paper towels and cleaned off his stomach, entwining fingers with him as the two left the doctors.

"Why were you frowning?" The green eyed man asked as he pulled up to an ice cream parlor. he took the picture that didn't seem to leave the boys grasp, bringing it up to his face. he didn't understand why he was so mad.

"You know how i feel about her having my traits." Louis snapped, walking inside and ordering his favorite ice cream before sitting down in a booth.

"But i like her having them." harry softly said, stealing a scoop of his ice cream. he placed the picture on the table, staring at it. "shes beautiful either way."

"You don't get it." Louis sighed, running a hand through his hair. "All my life i was bullied and was never treated fairly because of these things. even when I'm in my twenties people still talk down to me."

"We could always teach her to fight back."

"But then that would get her punished." the pregnant male muttered, eating the last of his ice cream.

The two were about to get up and leave but they paused at the sight of a small girl. she looked around four with unruly curls and bright brown eyes. she had the ears of a kitten but not the tail. she gave them a big smile before holding out her hand.

"Hi, my name is Ashley." she chirped. louis giggled and shook her hand slowly. "I'm louis." he responded.

"You have ears like me." she noted, tugging at them. louis turned to harry who had a smile on his face as he was watching her. "Do you have a little kitty in there?" She pointed to his stomach, shocking the boy.

Even he couldn't see through the sweater that he was pregnant. maybe it was a hybrid thing.

"Yes, do you wanna touch her?" He questioned. He scooted over to the end of the booth when she nodded yes, taking her little hand and pressing it at a random spot.

She held her hand there for a second before flinching back. "she hit me!" She giggled, revealing a large pair of dimples.

"No sweetheart, the baby kicked you." A woman's voice spoke, probably her mother. "I'm sorry if she was bothering you." She smiled, raising her two ears from her dark brown hair. "C'mon Ash."

As they were walking away, the little girl waved to the two males until she couldn't see them anymore.

Louis blushed as he looked down at his lap, blushing harder when harry placed a kiss on his cheek. "Its all gonna be fine." he reassured, taking his hand and leading him out of the parlor.
