Wednesday gets in her room and starts calling Scott. The phone rang a couple of times and he finally answered. "Hey Wednesday, did your parents give you the news?" Scott asked as soon as he accepted the call. She walks over to her door, looks both ways and then closes the door. Wednesday closes her door and walked toward her writing table. "Why did you hire them to work at Mcdonald's? Do you think they will survive working there with me?" She asked. There was a long pause in the conversation as she started working on her novel. Wednesday could hear some talking on the other end of the phone. "Yes, I think they have potential as you did on your first day," Scott said. Wednesday started laughing. He was like that for twenty minutes as she managed to get two sentences in. "So where do you think that I should put them tomorrow on their first day?" Scott asked. Wednesday finally got another two sentences done before saying a word. She stayed silent for a few more seconds and then started to answer the question. "I was going to say why can't my dad be in grill with me while my mom does the front window," Wednesday said. It sounded to her that Scott didn't like that idea. "Why would you rather have your dad in the grill with you instead of your mom?" He asked. Wednesday typed some more sentences on her typewriter and stopped. "Well I have a special bond with my dad instead of my mom," Wednesday said as she looked at the time. She could hear some laughter on the end of the phone. She sat there and rolled her eyes. "I guess we will find out tomorrow where your parents best fit at McDonalds," Scott said as he hung up without saying a word. Wednesday sets her phone down and continued to do what she was doing until bed. The next morning came and she got up very quickly and ran downstairs for breakfast. Gomez was cooking one of her favorite meals. Wednesday sits down very quickly and waited for him to put it on the plate. He sat it down on her plate and she started to eat it. "Are you ready to work with your parents today?" Gomez asked. Wednesday stops and looks at them. She gave them the side eye and continued to eat. "Are you ready to work during a rush at McDonalds?" Wednesday asked as she took the last bite of her food. She gets up from the table and goes to rinse her plate off. "Are you even ready to work with your parents?" Gomez asked. Just before Wednesday even said a word, she heard a loud honk. She runs over to the window to see Morigan was there. She runs upstairs, grabs her bag, and heads out her door.
Wednesday get in and the journey to school began. "So how was your night?" Morigan asked as she got on the road. She looks over at Wednesday. "It was very interesting. Scott and I talked on the phone about my parents working with us today after school," Wednesday said. Morigan pulls her car over and looks over at her. "Scott did what?" She asked as the radio came on all by itself. Wednesday nods as she quickly turns it off. They both looked at each other. "Yes, my parents came in yesterday and asked for a job. So, Scott ended up giving them the job and they start today," Wednesday said. Morigan just shrugged her shoulders and they went to school quietly. The journey ended and they got out of the car. Morigan turned her car off and started heading toward their lockers. "Do you even know what time they work tonight?" She asked. Wednesday just shrugged her shoulders as she got to her locker. Morigan gets to hers and started grabbing books. She closes the door and looks at Wednesday. "If it will make you feel any better, Scott has something to tell you at work today," Morigan said as she started to head toward homeroom. Wednesday followed her and they walked together to continue the conversation. "Is it good or bad news?" She asked. Before anything else was said, they managed to get to their room and walk in. They sat down and looked at each other. "I have no idea what it is. All he told me to say is that he has a surprise for you," Morigan said as she got her books out. Wednesday's eyes got big as the teacher started teaching. All of the class, she couldn't focus on the lesson. The bell rang right before she could even ask a question. Wednesday puts her books in her backpack and headed right to her next class. Morigan waited for her to come out to move on. "Are you okay? You didn't talk at all during that period," She said. Without saying a word to her, Wednesday speed walks to the next class without saying a word. Morigan finally caught up with her and looks at her. "Do you know if he is going to tell me good or bad news?" Wednesday asked. Morigan looks at her, shrugs her shoulders, and ran to class. They made it as the bell rang and were in their seats before the teacher could start talking. Wednesday gets her books out then got ready to listen. Morigan raises her hand and the teacher headed toward the desk. They talked for about ten minutes and then the lesson began. Wednesday was able to handle this class and took notes as their teacher wrote stuff on the board. Morigan raised her hand and surprisingly the teacher called on her for the second time. Wednesday sat there then looked over at Morigan. She took a long deep breath and started to talk. The whole class started laughing. The teacher even started busting up laughing about what Morigan was saying. She finally stopped talking and class continued. The teacher walks back up to the board and continued doing the lecture. Thirty minutes went by very fast and class finally ended. Wednesday quickly grabs her things and ran out of the classroom before Morigan could. Just as she was walking to her next class, Wednesday's phone dinged. She stops walking and grabbed her phone out of her pocket. Morigan was able to catch up with her. They both looked at the message and then started heading to the next class. "Did Scott just text you about his surprise?" Morigan asked. Wednesday looks at Morigan and nods her head. Before she could even say a word, the school bell rang and they started running toward the next class. They made it in a matter of seconds and got sat down. Class began and their teacher started to check their homework. She managed to get through checking all of the papers, smiled at Wednesday, and walked back up to the board. The teacher started writing a few things on the board and everyone started solving them. Wednesday finished and raised her hand. She gets up from her desk, grabs a piece of chalk, and started working at it. She puts the chalk down and walked back to her desk. All of her classmates look at the board, looked at Wednesday, then start clapping. Morigan got very jealous and tried to hide her face. She wasn't very successful and listened to the teacher. As the teacher started teaching again, Wednesday's phone did a little vibration. She makes sure no one was looking and started to read the message. She turns on her phone, reads Scott's message, and puts her phone away. She continued to listen to the teacher. Wednesday's phone vibrated again for the second time and she just completely ignored it until the end of class. Math class finally ended and Wednesday was the first one out of the class, leaving Morigan. She headed toward her locker and then opened the door. Morigan caught up and looked at her. "What was that for?" She asked. Wednesday stopped what she was doing then stared. "Nothing, i was just racing out of class so I can come to my locker," Wednesday said as she continued to grab her books. "So who was texting you in the middle of class?" Morigan asked. Wednesday closed the door of her locker and they started heading to their next class. "Scott was texting me all about the surprise he has in store for the both of us," Wednesday said as the bell rang. They quickly ran to their next class and continued their conversation later. Morigan made it to the class before Wednesday and sat down. Wednesday made it after her and sat down. She crosses her arms as the teacher was bringing a tv into the room. Everyone got excited, puts their stuff away, and focused on whatever was coming on. Before the movie even started, Wednesday and Morigan fell asleep as the teacher got the movie playing. The class went by very quickly, the teacher turns the movie off, and Wednesday runs out of the room. They both walked to their lockers, grabbed a couple of things, then runs to the cafeteria. Wednesday started racing to the lunch room and managed to beat her. She gets in line as Morigan got in line. The line moved very quickly, they got their food and tried to find a table. Wednesday found a table and walked in that direction with Morigan following. They both sat down then started eating. "So what do you think Scott wants to tell you at work?" Morigan asked. Wednesday just shrugged her shoulders and started eating. "Well I hope he got tickets to a concert because I want to go to one," Wednesday said as she took a bite of her food. Morigan had a great big smile on her face. "I guess you will soon find out," Morigan said as she took a sip of her drink. They both remained silent for the rest of their lunch period. The bell rang and it was on to the next class.
Two o'clock came around and it was time for Wednesday to go to work. Morticia picked her up then took her home. They stayed silent for a moment as her mom made it on the highway. "Do you want me to take you to work today?" Morticia asked. Wednesday looks at her mom with an evil stare. She was like that for a whole twenty minutes. "What time does Scott want you there at McDonalds for your first day?" Wednesday asked. Morticia got very silent for a moment as they made it home. As they pulled into the driveway, Scott's vehicle was sitting there. Wednesday's eyes got big as she got out to hug him. Morticia closed the door and watched them hug. "Are you ready for a fun shift with me?" Scott asked. Wednesday stops then nods her head. She quickly runs inside, puts her work shirt on, and came back out. She waves bye as she got in Scott's vehicle. Morticia smiled at Scott as he got in. "I will see you guys there!" He said as he drove off. Wednesday looks at him with a great big grin on her face. Scott got on the highway before the conversation started. "So how was school?" He asked. Wednesday didn't even say a word for a while as she could see McDonald's straight ahead. "It went well I guess," She said. They pulled off the highway and were almost at McDonalds. Scott pulls into McDonald's parking lot, puts his vehicle in park, and looked at Wednesday. "I got two things to tell you before we go to work," Scott said. They both got out of the vehicle and walks in the grass. They both sat down and looked at each other. "Morigan told me at school that you have something to tell me, but she didn't say anything else," Wednesday said. Scott nodded his head as he got two tickets out. He hands her the tickets and they both started going crazy. They were like for a whole twenty minutes and then stopped. "What's the other news?" Wednesday asked. Scott had a great big smile on his face as they both stood up. He puts his hand on her shoulder without saying a word. He waits a few seconds, makes sure no one was listening, and the conversation continued. "I'm pregnant with Scott and I's first child," Scott said as he lifted his shirt up to show her the baby bump. Wednesday's eyes got big and fainted into the grass.
