Wednesday came out with a happy look on her face. She hugs Scott for a few seconds and then got to work. Her parents started heading toward the work area to get to work. Wednesday clocked in and walked toward the grill area. She puts on some gloves and started making the sandwiches. Scott gets right behind her, with his stomach on her back. She finally turns around and smiled at him. "Wednesday, are you okay?" He asked. Wednesday started to make a sandwich without saying a word to Scott. He didn't like the not-talking thing so he grabs her shoulders and dragged Wednesday toward the lobby to talk privately. Morticia and Gomez walked out to see what was going on. Scott, Wednesday, and her parents all sat down to talk. There was some silence at the table and no one even spoke a word. Scott got up and gets Wednesday a drink. Tears started to roll down her face. "I miss Uncle Fester!" she said as she started crying again. She was like that for a whole twenty minutes. Morticia walks over toward Wednesday and tried to comfort her. Wednesday finally stops crying and smiled at her mom. "I know this is tuff for you about Uncle Fester dying, but everything will be fine," Morticia said. Wednesday wipes her tears and hugged her mom. "So am I still going to move in with Scott and his husband after the school year is over?" Wednesday asked as she tried to change the subject. Morticia and Gomez just looked at each other. "Why are you asking us this question now?" They both asked at the same time. Scott got his phone out and showed Wednesday's parents the room that he prepared for Wednesday. They took a long quick glance then gave the phone back. "That is a nice room and the funeral is on the day that you move in with your new family," Morticia said. Wednesday liked that. After a long pause in their conversation, they all got up and started working for their money. Wednesday started making sandwiches, Scott was up front, passing out the food, then Morticia was at the cash register taking orders. The whole work day was off to a good start until they started to get a rush. Morticia and Gomez started to freak out, but Scott was able to keep them from going crazy. Wednesday did a little chuckle at her parents and continued doing her job. An hour went by and Morticia was starting to screw up some orders. Scott walks over toward the station then tried to solve the problem. He smiled at her and walked back to his position. Wednesday turned on her music and started jamming to it. Another hour went by and the rush was done. Everyone was able to take some deep breaths and focus. "Do you want a break Wednesday?" Scott asked. She looked at the time and it was only two o'clock. "Is that baby inside of you ready to eat already?" Wednesday asked as she was wrapping the sandwich to hand it. She looked over at Scott and he was shaking his head. The whole room got quiet as Wednesday was trying to answer his question. "Can you wait until three o'clock to go eat your lunch?" She asked. Scott didn't even say a word as he came back to work. They were very quiet as they got to work for another hour.
The time came and Wednesday starts running toward the clock. She instantly clocks out and runs toward the register. Scott waddled with her to figure out what to eat. They finished ordering then waited for their food. Wednesday walks toward Scott's position for their food. After waiting fifteen minutes for lunch, she started heading to the table for lunch. She sits down and they grabbed their sandwiches. "So do you think your parents are liking it here at McDonalds?" Scott asked as he took a bite of his food. Wednesday took a long pause and shrugged her shoulders. "I have no idea if they are liking it or not," she said. Scott didn't know what to say so he continued to enjoy his food. The table was quiet for the longest time as Morticia came toward the table. She sits down and looked at both of them. "Liking what?" She asked. Scott and Wednesday jump really high in their seats. They tried to catch their breaths before even answering Morticia. "I was just asking her if you were liking working at McDonalds," Scott said. There was a long pause in the conversation as there was some screaming. They ran toward the working area to see what was going on. There was a spider near the window. Scott walks over toward the window, grabs a broom, and started hitting the window. After hitting the window a billion times, it fell off. He looks at everyone, smiles, and then his lunch continued. Wednesday runs ahead of Scott and continued to eat. Scott gets back to the table and sat down. "So have you been thinking about names for your sister?" He asked as he took a bite of his food. Wednesday took a long pause as she tried to come up with names. After thinking about it for a good twenty seconds, she had a great big smile on her face. She was starting to creep Scott out. "What do you think about the name Ariel?" Wednesday asked. Scott took a long pause as he was trying to eat and think at once. He sets his sandwich down and then looks at Wednesday. "I really do like that name," He said. They didn't even say a word for a few seconds. Morticia came out and asked for their help. So, Scott and Wednesday ran back to their positions and got to work. They ran back to the time clock, then ran back to where they were needed. Wednesday put on some gloves and started to help Dax. The whole screen was filled and she didn't even know what to do. She told him to calm down and they would get through this. Dax smiled at Wednesday for a few seconds and they started making the sandwiches. Scott ran to the table, grabbed their food, then ran back to work. He throws Wednesday their sandwich and they tried to eat while they were working. Everything was going fine until they got a big order. Everyone in the workplace started to freak out, except for Wednesday and Scott. They looked at each other for a few seconds, gave each other the thumbs up, then they got to work. Morticia came to help everyone else out as she ran over to the drink machine, got her drink, and got to work. The rush ended a few minutes later and Scott was on the floor, resting up. Wednesday reaches her hand out then helped him up. He thanked her and then started to stock back up for another rush. Six o'clock came quickly and they didn't even get busy. So, everyone at work was just standing around doing nothing.
Wednesday didn't know what to do so she clocked out and headed toward the lobby to wait on Scott. Nine o'clock came around and Scott waddled toward the time clock and then walked into the lobby. Wednesday gets up from her seat and they started to head to Scott's vehicle. The closing manager came in from his break as Scott went by. The vehicle got unlocked and Wednesday just jumped in. She buckled her seatbelt and waited for her buddy to get in. He finally gets in, stared at her, started the car, and the journey home began. "So that was a fun day at work," Scott said. Wednesday didn't know what to say so she just turned on the radio and started jamming. The car got quiet for a second and then Scott starts singing along with Wednesday. They got to Scott's house, looked at each other, turns off the vehicle, started to head inside, and said hi to his husband. The three of them talked for about twenty minutes, went into the kitchen, grabbed something to drink, put the cup away, and started heading upstairs to sleep for another workday together
