Elaine was walking around town going through different boutiques. She was trying to find a ball gown she loved to wear to the Mikaelsons ball.
She was walked to a quiet boutique on the end of a plaza. No one was in there but an women standing behind the counter. She walked in and the woman perked up at the sound of the bell.
"Hi! Welcome to African Designs, how can I help you?"
She smiled at her. "I'm looking for ball gowns I'm just going to browse if that's okay."
The woman nods. "Just call out if you need help."
Elaine smiled again before going over to a rack of clothes. She moves the hangers, picking up a black dress, examining it before putting it back.
She did this for 20 more minutes before she saw a dress she wanted. She quickly grabbed the dress and looked around for some shoes to match.
Which was quick she looked for a box in her size and grabbed it walking over to the counter to check her things out.
"Did you find everything okay?" The woman asks ringing up her dress and shoes.
"Yep. Your dress designs are beautiful by the way! I'm surprised your not full with customers." Elaine says grabbing her new card out her wallet.
"Well being a owner as a black women in this judge town you won't get many." She says pressing a few buttons. "You can swipe now."
Elaine swipes her card. "Well you'll definitely see me again. With more than dresses I'm loving the vibes of the shop. I'll get more people to come. I'm sure my daughter's would love it here."
The woman hands her bag with the shoes and dress. "Oh, thank you, that would mean so much."
Elaine smiles as she takes it. "It's no problem. Have a good day." She says walking towards the door.
"You too." She says.
Elaine goes to the little apartment she's staying in to get ready.

Elaine inhales as she makes her way to the doors of the Mikaelsons mansion. She walks up to the door and nods at the guards using a little mind control with her magic to let her in.
The doors open and Elaine walks in with her head high as she hears the whispers and feel the stares. She turns and walk down the stairs with confidence.
She laughed under breathe as she sees Kol at the bottom of the stairs and his sibling glaring at him. Except for Simone.
He reached his hand out to help her with the last few steps and she put her hand in his gently. "Thank you, Kol. It seems like some of your sibling and mother does not like this action."
He laughed. "I could care less of what they have to say."
They continue to talk. "So you were a witch before you turned?"
