When we believe in Jesus, we are given the Holy Spirit to guide us. Therefore we should want to be more and more like Him! And we will! We will reflect His light more and more like a mirror...!
God has given us rules to follow because He loves us, they are for our own good and will help us with day to day life! In no matter what situation we find our selves in God will always be by our side.
It's also good to have the word of God in our heart right? So try memorising and few verses here and there, pick one you lilke and just start!
Always ask - What would Jesus have ME do.
