19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.
-1 Corinthians 6:19-20-
When we are saved -as I have mentioned in other chapters/Daily Devotions- The Holy Spirit comes and lives in us therefore our bodies become temples for Him. We have been given the Holy Spirit by God, We can do nothing by ourselves to be saved it is only through God's mercy that we are saved.
We were taken from our sin and brought into the light only by Jesus' death on the cross for our sins. The SON OF GOD HAD TO DIE SO THAT WE COULD BE SAVED! -That's how serious sin is, That is what it takes.
Since God had given us our bodies and saved us from Hell the smallest thing we could do is honor God and honor yourself by taking care of your body.
