Waking to the sound of my alarm, I groan as I flip over and turn it off. My weekend of adjustment is finally over, and I'm finally starting in Forks High School. Getting out of bed, I make my way towards my bathroom to shower and do my morning routine. Making my way down to the kitchen, I noticed immediately that Klarke had prepared some waffles before she left for work. Knowing I'm on a time limit I scarf the food down, before briskly walking towards the door of the garage. Walking over to my Ford Mustang 1967 Shelby, I quickly get into the driver's seat as the doors to the garage open up, revving up the engine as I speed out onto the road.

As I arrive at the school, the loud sound of my car immediately turns heads which doesn't surprise me at all. With a wide smirk I can't help but rev up the engine again, making those looking at me all jump in surprise at the sudden noise. Pulling into a parking space towards the entrance of the school, I throw my bag over my shoulder and put on my aviators as I get out of the car. Walking down the halls towards the office, people are admiring and whispering about me and I can't help but smirk. Sure any new student would cause this, but I guarantee the next one won't be nearly as exciting as me.

Looking towards a small group of friends whispering to one another, I can't help but smirk at the pretty brunette amongst them. She's looking straight at me, and just to rile her up I blow her a kiss to see what she does, and her blush is immediately obvious on her cheeks and ears as she looks away from me. The guy next to her sends me a glare, and the chuckle that escapes me only seems to make him even more mad. I just know already that this guy is going to be the epitome of toxic masculinity, with his jealousy practically oozing out from him in waves.

Walking past the group, I finally arrived at the office. With a firm knock on the door, I enter without waiting for a reply. Sitting behind a desk is an older looking lady, busy typing on her keyboard. "Hey there, I'm the new student. I'm here for my schedule and locker number." Looking up from her monitor, the second she sees me her eyes go wide. "Yes, yes of course. You must be Alexis Ravenwood correct?" Giving her a lazy nod, she grabs some papers from the cabinet behind her. "Here's your schedule, your locker number, a map and an attendance sheet. You'll need to get each teacher to fill it out, and deliver it here by the end of the day" Grabbing the stuff she's reaching towards me, I give her a nod before turning and leaving.

After putting my things in my locker, I make my way towards my first class which happens to be history. Sighing, I already know I'll either have to tone down my knowledge, or deal with a likely pissed off teacher when I inevitably get something right that they don't. Walking into the room, I walk up to the teacher who has yet to start the class. "Hey, I need you to  sign this. Mind doing that?" Deciding that if he's going to hate me anyways, I might as well give him a reason to hate me. "Of course miss, although I'd refrain from talking to a teacher like that again - He looks at me with clear annoyance "You can sit in the back next to Jasper Hale. Please raise your hand Hale." Looking to the back, I can see a pale blonde guy raise his hand, and I make my way down to the empty seat next to him.

Looking at Jasper he seems unusually pale, and while I'm all types of not straight, even I have to admit that he's unusually beautiful. Had I been into guys, I could've totally seen the appeal. Seeing me scrutinise him, he sends me a pained smile before turning back to class. Leaning back in my chair, I hang my head as I study the ceiling above me while zoning out. I'm pulled out of my sense of relaxation as my name is called in an angry voice "Miss Ravenwood, if you don't want to be here feel free to leave!" Looking up at the angry history teacher, I give him a cheeky smile. "It's not that I don't want to be here sir, it's simply that you can't teach me something I don't already know." I can see the vein on his neck expand in anger, especially as the laughs of the other students ring out around the room.

"If you're so confident in your knowledge, how about we test it by asking some history questions? Keep your answers to the year?" Chuckling I give him a smirk with a taunting thumbs up. "Let's start simple to give you a chance then. Civil Rights Act." Putting my hands behind my head as I lean back in my chair, I throw my legs up on the table. "1964 sir" Looking at me frustrated, knowing I got the answer correct "John F. Kennedy assassination." Letting out a forced yawn, as I put my hand in front of my mouth. "1963" At this point the older man is getting red in the face, and I swear I can hear Jasper chuckle next to me. "Martin Luther King." Closing my eyes with a content sigh, I let out a quiet "68" If the man was capable of it, I could swear he would be growling at me in anger. "Lincoln." Taking off my aviators, I sit down properly in my seat again, as I put my head in my hands. "1865"

Now looking the man in his eyes, just because I know that it'll piss him off more than any disrespect ever could. "Roe vs. Wade." I look straight at him for a moment, savouring his anger. "That would be 1973" Now he's pacing back and forth behind his desk, while a deadly silence reigns in the classroom. "Brown vs. Board." "I see we aren't getting anymore difficult, but hey this is your game teach. 1954" I can see his hands clench, his knuckles turning white. "The battle of Gettysburg" "Boring. 1863" This time he actually lets out a growling sound, clearly reaching the end of his fuse. "Korean War" His voice is making his agitation clear to every student in the room, and you could hear a needle hitting the floor. "1950 to 1953" His manic laugh actually makes me tense, thinking he's finally gone off the deep end. "It indeed in 52"

He looks at me triumphantly, and a smirk grows on my face as I know this will be the final nail in his coffin. "Actually sir it was 53" He lets out a sound of desperation before yelling out to the class "Someone look it up!" Leaning back in my chair, I wait to enjoy the look of despair on his face. "It was 19… 53" I hear Jasper speak up next to me, and looking towards him I can definitely see the smile of amusement this time. The teacher slams his hand down on his table in rage. "All of you out! I'm letting you go early, so get out of my sight!" All the students practically race out of the door, clearly not wanting to look a gift horse in the mouth.

Walking out of the class, I'm stopped by Jasper clearing his throat behind me. Turning around to face him with a raised eyebrow, I wait for him to talk. "That was pretty impressive in there. Not a lot of people know their history that well" Chuckling, I can't help the small smile that makes its way to my face. "He lost from the moment he challenged me, no one can win something like that when going up against an eidetic memory" At that, he lets out an honest to God smile. "Yeah I can see that, and I thought my knowledge of history was impressive. It was good meeting you Alexis" He turns to leave, and with a smile I make my way outside to have a smoke before the next class.

Leaning my head against the wall, I let out a cloud of smoke from my lips. "I heard what you did in history with Kirk. No one has done something like that before" Looking to my right just above the glass of my aviators, I saw the brunette from the hall earlier this morning walking towards me. Giving her a smirk as I turn my head back towards the parking lot. "I bet it made me really popular with him, and I bet it absolutely won't bite me in the ass later." Her laugh is melodic, and it makes me smile just a bit. "Well, he took it out on the next class, but everyone is still laughing about it. You certainly made a splash." Taking another inhale from my cigarette, I look at the smoke as it blows out from my lips. "Glad to hear it hasn't made me public enemy number one then. Not that I really care."

She lets out a humm in thought. "So you're one of those loners who don't care what anyone thinks then?" Giving her a humm of my own. "Guess I am. I suspect my appearance says as much though, either that or I'm the mysterious new bad girl that makes all the prim and proper girls question their sexuality." Looking at her out of the side of my eye, I can see the blush dusting her cheeks which immediately brings a smirk to my face. "Well, I've certainly heard of a few girls who are into you. So I guess there's some truth to that." Dropping the bud of my cigarette on the sidewalk while stomping on it, I whirl around on her and trap her between my arms and the wall. "And what about you? Are you one of the girls that are into me?" Raising an eyebrow above my shades, I smirk at her and preen at her blush.

"N-no of course I'm no-not!" Her stammer and blush tells me otherwise, but I lean back from her and start to walk inside the school building again with my back towards her. "Well if that changes, you're always welcome to find me again. Nothing beats showing a girl that she has better options than just toxic hormonal teenage guys." She doesn't say anything, but I can tell she's blushing at my statement. Heading through the entrance, I can't help but think that coming to Forks might actually have been a good thing.
