Ellie Scott yawned and rubbed her hands against her eyes trying to get the excess sleep out of her eyes, she had crawled into the backseat of the Impala and slept while Dean drove. His leather jacket was covering her and her face had been pressed against the duffel bag that he used for gear.

"How long have I been asleep for?"

"A while.' He returned handing back a bottle of water to her, his eyes never leaving the road. She nodded her thanks and sat up, "Where are we?" "Almost to Nebraska."

"Jesus." She muttered rubbing her eyes again, " We aren't meeting your dad are we?"

He laughed at that and shook his head, knowing that she wouldn't have agreed to come with him if John was going to be around. There was a lot of hate and distrust between the two, so Dean wanted to keep the two apart for as long as he could. He couldn't have his father tearing apart the one almost stable relationship he had.

"And why do I see a roadhouse?" She recapped the water bottle and crawled over the seats to sit next to him. The roadhouse was familiar to her, it was her Aunt's roadhouse. This was going to get a lot more interesting.

Seeing the familiar car that Lee drove, Ellie swore and turned to look at him.

"You son of a bitch. Lee? Really?"

The last time that she had met Lee, they had gotten into a fight and she had slapped him. "Come on babe, he isn't that bad.' Dean dropped his hand to her thigh and squeezed it lightly. "Yeah, wait until he is drunk enough to hit on you." She huffed, pushing his hand further down towards her kneecap. He pouted quickly and squeezed her knee. "You two will both be lucky if I don't kill you two before this is over.'

The car wasn't in park for long when the passenger door opened and Lee climbed into the car. Ellie scooted closer to Dean who draped his arm around her shoulders.

'Oh look, you brought the little lady with you."

"Figured she could help." Dean slapped his hand against Lee's.

"Yeah, she is the perfect match." Lee reached out and tangled some of Ellie's brown hair between his fingers which made her slap his hand away.

"Watch it, Lee, I am not afraid to cut anything off." All three sets of eyes dropped to Lee's crotch and he winced. He had seen the collection of knives that she was amassing and it was almost scary. Like the Winchesters, she was full of her own dirty little tricks and secrets. And it scared him.

"Let me out." She said after a heartbeat, nudging Lee, "If I need to be bait, I am not going to do it dressed in Dean's clothes." Giving his friend a pointed look Lee slid out of the car and let Ellie who got out of the car and then reached into the backseat and pulled out her duffel.

"Are you okay with this?" He asked once the girl was out of their sight. "Why wouldn't I be?" "Because the last time we tried to use Ellie as bait, you lost your cool and dragged her out of the bar after you beat the shit out of the guy. Your dad was pissed. Not to mention that time with Sam." "It's nothing." He returned, he would deny, deny, deny he had feelings for Ellie until the sun went down.

Lee smirked, there was one surefire way to get Dean to admit his feelings at least a little bit. He hated to see that poor girl getting strung along like that. Not when she could be happy.
