(The 4 girls of the literature club sit in the club room. Monika, sitting at her desk, writing. Yuri, sitting in a desk reading. Sayori, eating, like always. And Natsuki, rearranging her manga collection in the closet.
Natsuki: it's not manga, it's literature!
Monika: Natsuki, I don't know who you're talking to but please don't shout in the clubroom. This is quite time.
Natsuki: up yours monika. *she emerges from the closet* I'm tired of being ganged up on by you and Yuri all the time.
*yuri does not look up from her book but she hears what Natsuki is saying and gets flustered*
Sayori: hey guys, no fighting!
Natsuki: shut up and keep eating fatass!
Monika: *she stands up from her desk* thats enough Natsuki. See me after class.
Natsuki: you can't keep me here against my will. You're not even a teacher.
Monika: well I can kick you out of the club as the club president.
Natsuki: fine...
Monika: good. *she sits back down*
(A little while later)
Monika: alright class, club is over. Natsuki...
Natsuki: *she approaches Monika's desk as Sayori and Yuri leave* yes monika...? *she says as she puts her head down*
Monika: look at me.
*natsuki does*
Monika: what's wrong? Is there problems somewhere? Home? Classes? You can talk to me Natsuki.
Natsuki: it's nothing. Just a bad day is all I guess.
Monika: want to talk about it?
Natsuki: no. I think I'm just gonna go home...
Monika: ok. Please be careful and know that you can come to me about anything.
Natsuki: ok Monika. *she turns to leave. Monika watches her walk out, walking past Sayori and Yuri who are standing in the doorway and walk in when natsuki leaves*
Monika: hey girls. What's up?
*sayori is holding Yuri. Yuri is crying*
Sayori: I think Yuri needs a shoulder to lean on. I tried to help her but...I'm not really sure of what I can do.
*Monika stands up and walks over to the girls. She grabs yuri and hugs her*
Monika: cmon yuri. Let's sit down. Thank you sayori.
Sayori: of course. I hate to see my friends in pain...it makes me so sad...
Monika: I understand. I do too. I'll take care of her. Don't worry.
Sayori: thank you Monika. *she leaves*
*Monika sits yuri down at a desk and sits in a desk next to her*
Monika: what's going on yuri?
Yuri: I-I've been struggling with a lot lately. Between school and...mental problems...
Monika: care to talk? I won't force you to.
Yuri: well, at school, there's been some girls who have been bullying me.
Monika: oh no! Bullies? That's horrible? I hate bullies. I don't understand why they have to bring other down to make themselves feel better. Horrible. They must be sadists, right? Bring others pain to feel good. Or is that just for physical harm? I don't know if it counts for mental. Atleast. They haven't physically harmed you, have they?
