Death resembles a massive tree with deep earthen roots and skyward-extending limbs. Its bark is coarse and gnarled, resembling the lines on an old friend's face. The lives that have passed beneath its shade are revealed in the wind-whispered secrets of its leaves.

Death is a dark and enigmatic silhouette that trails behind us, always present yet forever elusive. It shifts and changes with the movement of the sun.

It dances along the ground, a wraith-like acquaintance that is always present but never seen - a phantom in the flesh.

It is a companion on the winding path of life. Like a guide leading us through a dark and unfamiliar forest, it shows us the way to the other side, to the great unknown.

Let us sit beneath the tree of life and listen to the stories it has to tell, knowing that Death will be there at the end, waiting to take us home.
