All the Pogues except sage was at the Chateau. It was a chill day at least it wasn't that hot, the air was actually nice not too hot & not too cold either. It's a perfect day to sit back and relax and play John b's old board games Kie found underneath his gross bed. "Is Sage coming over?" John B said as he looked at the blonde headed boy. "I'm not too sure i haven't seen her in a while" Jj said, "im sure she is okay she always is, it's Sage she will appear out of thin air" Pope said to the pogues. What Pope said about Sage how she is always okay & that's the thing that worries John b she never shows her emotions. The pogues had talked to each other about Sage and her home life once but they obviously don't know about much. They never ask Sage about it because she usually avoids the questions so they leave it alone but they however do get curious. "Right well i'm going to text her, i know she loves board games" Kie said as kie picks up her phone and messages.
Sage "come over, board games r included" -Kie "K" -Sage "see you then <3" -Kie (seen)
Kie had a weird look while looking at the text message from Sage, "what's wrong what she say" John b said while looking at kie, "she said k" kie said while looking at the boys. "K, sounds like she doesn't wanna come over" Jj said with a confused look, "oh well, she is coming over now and plus we need to get her out of the house, we haven't seen her in like 2 days" Pope had said. It's obvious something is going on at Sages house all of the pogues thought."I'll ask her if everything at home is okay when she gets here" John b said, the rest of the pogues nodded their heads and agreed, while they continued to what they were doing before.
Sages pov Sage had finally came out of her room "Okay dad i'm leaving i'll be home later" Sage said while walking towards the door, Sages dad Scott had grabbed her shoulder and pulled her back violently, Sage knew what was about to happen and she turned towards him. "Where do ya think your going huh?" Scott said while now holding onto her wrist with all of her bracelets on that was hiding her scars and her recent cuts because she had relapsed again. Sages wrist started to hurt, he was grabbing her wrist too tight that she couldn't leave from his grip "I'm uhh.. going to hangout with my friends for a bit... i'll be back early i promise dad" she said as her tears began to fall down her cheeks. Scott punched her right in the lip, it instantly began to bleed, "DON'T BE HOME LATE OR IT WILL BE WORSE THIS TIME, YEH?" the tall man yelled at her. Sage looked up at Scott and said "yes dad, I understand" the poor girl with tears streaming down her face and her bloody lip walked out of the door trying to keep it together. As Sage walked to the chateau she pulled out her phone & opened up the camera app. And quickly wiped the blood with her black jumper that was rapped around her waist, and she cleaned up the messy mascara, forgetting about how her wrists was starting to bruise quickly Sage completely forgotten.
Sage had arrived at the chateau and as she walked in she heard a voice "wow you took your time, we started to think that u had forgotten about us" Pope said. Sage smiled as she sat down on the couch "no never" Sage said, they laughed. Jj noticed her lip had been bleeding there was still some dry blood on her lip, "WTF... what happened to your lip sage?" the blonde boy asked with a worried expression. Sage panicked and ran to the bathroom and locked the door, she could hear them all banging on the door and trying to open it, "WHAT HAPPENED SAGE" jj said while banging on the door, then Kie, john b then Pope began too ask the same thing that the blonde boy had said. Suddenly she began to cry she just let it out she held it in for too long she panicked she needed it to stop she needed her blade she was searching underneath the sink for anything sharp, she ripped her bracelets off she just needed it to stop. Suddenly she couldn't hear jj anymore she could hear the others kinda but not him, she fell against the wall and sat on the cold floor sobbing because she couldn't find anything. As she began to scratch her arm violently looking at the mark her dad left her and looking at her scars & her cuts from when she relapsed the other day.
Jj's pov "Fuck this im going around" I said , the other pogues nodded and allowing me to go and help her. I ran outside of the house worried for Sage, climbing up the wall onto the window, opening the window. I heard my best friend sobbing. I quickly jumped into the bathroom and saw Sage sitting on the ground crying and looking at her wrist. I was shocked and worried.
Sage quickly looked up from her knees and saw a blonde head boy looking at her with a shocked expression, she quickly picked up her jumper and put it on so fast to hide her scars & marks. She saw his face she felt like he was disgusted for seeing her like this. Jj had ran over to her hugging her, Sage excepted the hug, the hug had given Sage this safe feeling. She had felt safe with jj, he had also got that feeling too. They didn't know what this feeling was but it felt right, Sage pulled away from the hug and wiped her tears away "I'm so sorry" Sage said to the blonde boy. JJ lifted her head up from her knees "hey don't you ever apologise for letting your emotions out, don't" the blonde boy said while comforting her.
Sage looked over at Jj and nodded her head, "what happened to your lip, sage please tell me" jj said Sage panicked again "me and my dad were playing around with the ball and i got hit with the ball, stupid me" she said. Jj didn't believe a word that came out of her mouth because he knows that you would either have to peg the ball hard at someone to get a busted lip, it's obvious someone hit her he wanted to know who but she wouldn't say he knew that so he agreed with Sage. "Oh okay be careful next time, but why were u crying tho" the blonde boy had said "I've just been overwhelmed a lot with family stuff lately, no i don't wanna talk about it" Sage said while still sitting on the cold floor with jj still. "Okay.. well I'm here if u wanna talk anytime" jj said Sage nodded while getting up from the ground and opening the door.
Sage walked out from the bathroom with jj behind her, seeing the other pogues setting the board game up "hey don't worry im fine I've just been overwhelmed with family stuff and nope i don't wanna talk about it, okay?." The other pogues agreed and looked over at jj and knew that she was lying but didn't say anything, they didn't ask about Sages busted lip because they knew she was lying anyways. The pogues continued to have a fun time together, playing the broad games. JJ had fallen asleep on Sages shoulder it was cute, Sage didn't wanna move so she drifted off into her sleeping too with jj's and Sage's heads on top of each other sleeping peacefully. Sage was woken up by jj she was laying on his chest it was comfortable and sweet, "hey princess, your phone keeps on ringing sorry for waking you up" the blonde boy said. Sage sat up quickly and looked at her phone
11:30 pm Dad -23 missed calls
John b was asleep and kie and pope went home earlier."Oh shit" sage said while putting her shoes on. "what's wrong" jj asked "I was supposed to be home earlier but i fell asleep, of course i do" sage said in a rush. "I can drive you if u want" jj said "no it's okay thanks anyways" sage said while walking out of the door. "okay i'll text you later bye"'jj said. Why would she be in such a rush to get home it's like she was sacred of something, jj thought to himself & she put on her jumper really quickly too, "I'll ask her about it when it's the right time" jj mumbled.
Sage was running home...
