━ 02. The night of the Comet

Cameron walked down the steps inside his gram's house as he made his way toward the kitchen. Ever since last night, he's been feeling strange. He can't say for sure what was happening to him because he truly didn't know.

"Morning baby." Grams greeted him making him smile at her as he kissed her forehead.

"Hey, Grammy. What have I told you about cooking? Give me this." He told the woman who rolled her eyes as he took the skillet out of her hand placing it back on the stove.

"Boy, I'm 53 years old not damn 93 I can cook." She told him making him roll his eyes.

"I don't care if you were 33 grams you're not cooking now get your old butt out of this kitchen," Cameron told her before he began to pick up where she left off.

"Alright Cameron Jamari Bennett but if you burn my food I'm gone whoop yo ass." Grams mutters while Cameron rolled his eyes.

"Do I look like Bonnie to you?" He asked before he flipped a pancake watching it land perfectly back into the pan.

"That's not funny Cam that was only one time," Bonnie said walking downstairs while he shrugged.

He moved away from the pot when he felt lightheaded all of a sudden causing him to tightly grip his head. He leaned over the counter while he waited for the headache to pass but it kept coming more stronger.

"You alright Camy?" Bonnie asked her brother who shook his head. Bonnie frowned going over toward her twin before she placed her hand on his shoulder and Cameron shuttered when his mind suddenly went blink.

"Cameron! What did you do to him." Somebody's voice yelled inside his mind causing him to look around confused.

"I'm remaking him." An elderly woman replied when Cameron finally snapped back into reality when Bonnie snapped her fingers in his face.

"Cam, are you okay?" She asked making him nod when Grams placed a bottle in front of him causing him to look at her.

"It will help." That was all she said before Cameron suddenly wasn't feeling hungry anymore.

"I-um I'm gonna go get dressed for school. I need to go over some plays with Tyler." He muttered weakly before he grabbed the water bottle walking toward his room.

"Is he okay? He's been having headaches for the last couple of months." Bonnie asked Grams who gave her a knowing look.

"It's all part of the development baby." She softly told her granddaughter before walking off.
