" Oh shit , I'm late ! ", I jumped out of my seat, got my supplies and ran out Robin's room, " What's the rush ? ", I turned and looked at Robin, I didn't want to tell him about my home life, " My dad wanted me home by 8:00 " " Oh alright, want me to walk you to the door ? " " Sure, why not ", Robin caught up to me and showed me to the door, " Feel free to come by anytime, Bye Finn " "  Bye Robin ", he waved to me as he closed the door, I waved back and started speed walking home, it took me a few minutes but before I knew it, I was about to open my house door, I opened my door and I saw my dad standing there with his belt in hand.

" Where the hell have you been boy ?! I said be back by 8:00, it's 8:17 !! " " Dad I'm sorry, I just lost track of time " " That's bullshit, why don't you just listen ?! ", he walked up to me and pushed me against the door, he raised his hand and hit me with the belt multiple times, I tried to hold back my tears but I couldn't hold them anymore, I started crying and I couldn't stop them, " Maybe next time you'll actually listen to me. ", he went to his room and slammed the door shut, I fell down on the floor and cried as Gwen quickly came out of her room and ran up to me before hugged me, " I'm so sorry Finney.." " no need to apologize, it's not your fault.. ", she stood up while holding her hand out to help me up, I grabbed it and stood up slowly.

I walked to the bathroom while closing the door, I looked at my blurred face in the mirror, I opened the bottom drawer and grabbed my supplies, I grabbed a towel, dipped it in water and started to clean my wounds, after that I was going to put bandages on them but I realized I had ran out, so I decided to put a few band aids on them until I could get more bandages, I walked out the bathroom and immediately ran to my room, I closed my door while turning off my light, I stared at my bed then looked at my wounds, " I'll just lay on my side ", I laid on my bed when Gwen suddenly opened my door and stood there, " Are you gonna be okay ? " " yeah I'll be fine " " Alright, I love you Finney " " Love you more Gwen ", Gwen left while closing my door, I stared at my wall and started crying before giving up and deciding I'll just cry myself to sleep again .
