The Uchiha Demon Slayer! | A Sasuke Story

Prologue.

SASUKE GRUNTED AS HE dodged a kick from a rogue nin. Team 7 were sent on a mission to intercept three rogue ninja's, about Chunin level who managed to get their dirty hands on an important scroll.

"Kage Bushin No Jutsu!" Naruto's voice sounded and a bunch of clones appeared. Sakura managed to kick one of the Rogue nin towards Sasuke. "Sasuke-kun!" She shouted, and he got the message. He grabbed the rogue nin and knocked him unconscious.

Naruto and Sakura made a quick finish of the other two before turning to Sasuke. "Where's the scroll?" Naruto asked and Sasuke huffed. "Give me a minute dobe. We need to search them." Sasuke said, crouching down to the guy he knocked out. "Whatever teme." Naruto said, searching one of the other guys — sakura following.

Sasuke felt the scroll in the weapons pouch of the guy he knocked out and dumped it out on the ground. It was a mistake because the scroll opened and glowed. "Sasuke-teme what did you do?!" Naruto shouted, bewildered, swivelling around to face him. "I don't know Dobe!" Sasuke said and they started bickering.

"Boys.. BOYS!" Sakura shouted, gaining their attention. She pointed at the scroll and they turned to it, seeing it generate some sort of portal. Sasuke inspected it but a giant pressure sucked him into the portal. He widened his eyes as Sakura and Naruto shout his name in fright as the portal closes.

He flips multiple times mid air, trying to see where he could go. Everywhere was pitch black. He was falling, but he didn't know where. His hair blew as his shirt ruffled, rising up showing his stomach. A light appeared beneath him and he looked down, seeing the light getting bigger.

When he managed to get through it, all he saw was trees and snow. He grabbed a Kunai, attached ninja wire and threw it at a tree, hanging onto the wire as he swung down, flipping before landing in a crouch. He yanked the wire, getting his Kunai back and pocketed it.

He looked around in confusion, shivering slightly at the cold. "Where the hell am I?" He said to himself. "She's my sister! She's my younger sister!" Sasuke heard and grunted in confusion. He heard growls and the shout of a name. Sasuke jumped to the trees. He jumped from tree to tree and followed the voice.

When the voice, which was also joined by another voice and someone growling got louder, he stopped. Sasuke looked down, seeing a man with hair like his, except longer. He had blue eyes and a mismatched haori, clutching a sword which had 'Slayer of Demons' engraved in it.

Another boy, maybe slightly older than Sasuke with a green and black checkered haori, he had black hair with burgundy highlights, bright red eyes.

The source of the growling was in the hold of the mismatched haori guy. She had blood on her, growling at the male who restrained her. She had black hair with a pink ribbon, what looked like she was wearing a night gown which was stained in blood. She had pink eyes with a black slit in the middle and elongated canines.

"My job is to slay demons. Needless to say, I'm going to decapitate your sister." Mismatched Haori guy said, making Sasuke widen his eyes in shock. "Hold on! Nezuko hasn't killed anyone! Back at my house, there was another scent that I'd never smelled before!" The burgundy boy said.

"That's probably the one who killed my family!" The boy said and Sasuke clenched his fists, flashes of the massacre going by in his head. He shook his head and continued watching. "It's quite simple. Because her wounds were exposed to demon blood, she turned into a demon. That's how man eating demons multiply." Mismatched haori guy explained.

"Nezuko would never eat humans!" The boy shouted, stepping forward. "You gotta be kidding." The mismatched guy said, narrowing his eyes. "Just now, you were about to be devoured." He continued. "You're wrong!" The boy shouted, furrowing his eyebrows. "I'm sure she knows who I am!" He continued.

Sasuke narrowed his eyes. "I won't let her hurt anyone! I'm going to turn nezuko back into a human! I swear, I'll heal her!" The boy declared. "She can't be healed. Once you become a demon, you can never go back to being a human." The Slayer said, almost bored.

"I'll find a way, no water what! So please.. So, please! Don't kill her!" The boy shouted pleadingly. Sasuke frowned. This hit a bit too close to home for him. "I'll hunt down the one who slaughtered my family! I'll make everything all right! Please! Please!" The boy shouted pleadingly as the slayer goes to stab Nezuko.

Sasuke clenched his shaking fists. This boy also wanted revenge. Sasuke could relate to that. He held some sort of respect for this boy wanting to save his sibling. It made him also envious of him, trying so hard so save his sister. "Don't do it!" The boy shouted.

The boy bowed, his head in the snow as he begged and pleaded for the slayer not to kill his sister. Sasuke grit his teeth. 'If you want to save your sister, raise your head! Fight! Don't grovel at this guy's feet! Fight back!' Sasuke shouted in his mind as the boy begged and cried.

"Don't ever give others a chance to murder you! Stop that pathetic grovelling! If it was the least hit effective, your family wouldn't be dead! How can a weakling who can't take the initiative in such a state, heal his sister, hint down the enemy? Don't make me laugh! The weak have no rights or choices!" The slayer shouted, having the same thoughts as Sasuke.

"Their only fate is to be relentlessly crushed by the strong! The demons might know how to cure your sister! But don't think that a demon would respect your will or wishes! Naturally, I have no respect for you either! That's reality! Why did you throw yourself over you sister earlier? Was that your way of protecting her? Why didn't you swing your hatchet?" The slayer continued to shout as Sasuke watched on, these memories hitting too close to home..
