SASUKE RAN UP THE mountain with Tanjiro and this old man known as Urokodaki. Tanjiro pants next to him, but Sasuke looked fine. They made it by Sunset. Tanjiro wheezed heavily next to Sasuke who sweatdropped at his wheezing, not having broken a sweat.
"Have I.. passed the test?" Tanjiro asked through breaths. "The test starts now." Urokodaki said, taking off the cloth around his head. "We're going to climb a mountain." He said, making Tanjiro let out a slight scream before he was ordered to place his sleeping sister in the house. "I'll make sure to take care of your sister for you." Urokodaki said.
"Thank you." Tanjiro said, turning to Urokodaki from the floor. He stood up and Urokodaki led them up a mountain. He suddenly stopped, turning to them. "Now, from here, go back down to the house at the foot of the mountain. This time, I'm not going to wait until daybreak!" Urokodaki said, before disappearing with the fog.
Sasuke grunted and looked down the mountain. He could sense where they came from, but he could see the glints of wire and other traps. "Tanjiro." Sasuke said, gaining the boys attention. "Be careful." Was all Sasuke said before disappearing, running down the mountain making Tanjiro scream in shock.
Sasuke jumped and ducked under traps, flipping over a few he might of set off. He continued down the mountain. 'This is child's play. An academy student could have done this.' Sasuke thought. It took about an hour to get down the mountain, but Sasuke didn't jump on trees and get down faster. He wanted to do it properly.
He skidded to a stop outside Urokodaki's house and opened the door. He looked over. Sasuke could tell he was surprised to see him so early. "Impressive." Urokodaki said and Sasuke grunted. "I take pride of speed." Sasuke said and Urokodaki nodded.
They waited for Tanjiro to get down the mountain. "Have you been trained before?" Urokodaki asked and Sasuke grunted. "Why do you ask?" Sasuke questioned. "Because no ordinary 11 year old boy should be able to get down a heavily trapped mountain in an hour." Urokodaki replied.
Sasuke grew an irk mark. "I'm 12." Sasuke corrected the man who nodded. "My apologies." Urokodaki replied. They waited a while, but when the door opened, revealing a panting Tanjiro. Sasuke's lips nearly quirked up.
"I.. have.. returned.." Tanjiro panted, before passing out. Sasuke grunted and walked over. "Such a dobe." He muttered, throwing Tanjiro over his shoulder and bringing him over to a futon.
"I accept you both as my students, Kamado Tanjiro, Uchiha Sasuke." Urokodaki said, making Sasuke nod. The next day, Urokodaki explained to them about demons and the demon slayer corps.

Training Montage!Sasuke and Tanjiro run down the mountain, dodging various traps. Sasuke doing better than Tanjiro as Urokodaki explains his training and Final Selection.
Sasuke grunted, watching Tanjiro write in his journal for Nezuko. Sasuke looked down and Nezuko and grunted, seeing a hair fall out of place and move it back, ignoring Tanjiro's smile.
They descend down the mountain, sword in hands. Sasuke liked the feeling of a sword, it felt so natural in his grip. It may have ruined Tanjiro's movement but Sasuke liked the new weight.
They swung the sword 1000 times. But when Urokodaki saw Sasuke was practically fine. He made Sasuke do 6000 a day, making Sasuke sweat a lot more.
Urokodaki started training Sasuke harder than Tanjiro that day.
Sasuke sighs, watching Tanjiro nod off while writing in his journal. He picked up a sleeping Tanjiro, put him in the futon and grabbed the paintbrush, continuing to write for Tanjiro.
