The Uchiha Demon Slayer! | A Sasuke Story

Chapter 4

SASUKE JUMPED FROM TREE to tree, following his crow. He had been travelling for an hour and has nearly made it to the village.

He dropped down onto the paths, shoving his hands in his pockets and walking into the village. He looked around as the sun was setting. If there was a demon, it would only come out during the night time. He looked around before walking into an alleyway.

He jumped up to the roofs and crouched down, inspecting the village and checking for any advantage points. It was a giant town. He looked around, noticing it wasn't as populated.

It's like people locked themselves in their houses during sunset. He waited till night falls and put a hand on his Kusagani. He crouched down, placing his hand on the roofs. He stretched out his sensing abilities.

He closed his eyes, concentrating. A few more minutes before a scream rung out. He snapped his eyes open. He jumped across rooftops, until he made it to the source of the scream.

A young woman, against the back of the alleyway, stared at the demon in front of her in fear. Sasuke jumped down and sent a strike towards the demon, who jumped back. "A demon slayer eh?" The demon grinned as Sasuke stepped infront of the woman protectively.

"Hn." Sasuke grunted before charging forward. He sliced off the demons neck before he could even tell what was going on. He sheathed his Kusagani as the head dropped to the floor. "You okay, miss?" Sasuke asked, turning to the woman.

"Thank you!" The woman said, hugging him. He jolted but awkwardly patted her back. 'That was a boring first mission..' Sasuke thought as he waved the woman goodbye after giving her some wisteria

Sasuke checked around the town for the rest of the night, looking for any more demons. He left at sunrise. His crow caws from above, making him look up. "Next up, Asakusa, Tokyo!" His crow said and Sasuke grunted. That was a day or two away from here.

Sasuke ran through Asakusa Tokyo. He could sense some sort of battle happening, and a familiar life force. 'Tanjiro..' Sasuke thought as he ran into an alleyway.

He furrowed his eyebrows. Tanjiro and Nezuko's signatures were just up ahead, with four unknown signatures. 'Demons.!' Sasuke thought. He walked to the end of the alleyway, pressing his hand against the wall. He raised an eyebrow as his hand went through.

He walked through, unsheathing his Kusanagi and charged forward. He sliced a temari ball which was heading towards Nezuko, making all the demons around him surprised. "Who are you?!" A boy with green hair shouted.

"Uchiha Sasuke." He replied, before charging towards the Temari demon who grinned, throwing her Temari's to the ground, creating smoke.

"That's futile." Sasuke said, dodging Temari's before breathing in sharply. "Water Breathing, Third Form: Flowing Dance!" Sasuke muttered, slicing all the Temari's before charging forward and slicing her neck.

She gasped as her head dropped to the ground. Sasuke grunted and turned to the other demons. "Nezuko! Get away from them." Sasuke said, pointing his sword at the boy with green hair.

"S-Sasuke-san! They're good demons!" He heard Tanjiro's voice and looked over, seeing him crawling on the ground with his sword on the ground next to him.

"It could be a trick, Tanjiro." Sasuke said as Nezuko walked over, patting Sasuke's head. He grunted, looking away. "I promise! They are like Nezuko!" Tanjiro said and Sasuke scoffed, sheathing his sword.

"Fine." Sasuke said as Nezuko nods off. He puts her on his back as the lady demon offers for them to go into her house. Sasuke nods and grabs Tanjiro, following them into the house as the sun starts to rise.
