"I don't mind spendin' everyday

Out on your corner in the pourin' rain oh

Look for the girl with the broken smile

Ask her if she wants to stay awhile

And she will be loved, and she will be loved

And she will be loved, and she will be loved

Please don't try so hard to say good-bye

I don't mind spendin' everyday, out on your corner in the pourin' rain

Please don't try so hard to say good-bye"

"You're good at that, Mila," Laney's voice spoke from the backseat of the car, breaking Camila from her slight trance.

"Yeah Mommy," Avery agreed quietly. "I like when you sing."

Camila had been singing along quietly to the words of the songs on the CD she had found in Lauren's car and was unaware that the two tiny girls, who she thought had fallen asleep during their drive, were listening to her intently.

"Thank you," Camila smiled, blushing slightly as they finally pulled into the driveway of Lauren and Laney's house.

Camila's smile widened when she remembered that it was now their house. She had been so caught up in the moment that she almost didn't notice the white pick-up truck pulling out of the driveway.

She helped Laney and Avery, who were excitedly babbling about something random to each other, out of the car before leading them into the house.

"Lauren?" Camila called once she enterted the house, pausing at the bottom of the stairs after not seeing her in the living room. "Laur?" She tried again once she had made her way to stand in the kitchen.

She set down the damp beach towels she'd carried in from the car onto the counter when she noticed that the door leading to the garage was just slightly ajar. She went to close it, pausing when she heard a small noise from inside of the garage.

"Hey," Lauren smiled from where she was standing at the top of a ladder that lead to the home's attic when she saw Camila stick her head out of the door. She stopped what she was doing to descend the ladder, making her way over to where Camila stood.

"Hi," Camila replied as she moved her hands to Lauren's shoulders as the older woman moved hers to Camila's waist. She had a slight height advantage as Lauren was standing on the top of the two steps that went from the garage to the kitchen, and she couldn't help but bite her lip as the green-eyed woman smiled up at her. She felt her heart flutter in her chest as she brought their lips together, and she wasn't sure that feeling would ever go away.

Which was good, because she definitely didn't want it to.

"How was your day?" Lauren asked when their mouths separated.

"It was good," Camila answered, smiling as she brushed a few strands of dark hair out of Lauren's face. "We missed you though."

"I missed you too," Lauren grinned as she pushed gently on Camila's hips, making the younger woman back up so that she could walk through the doorway. "Hi girls," she added once she was in the kitchen, looking over at the two brunettes who had occupied themselves at the table with a small wooden puzzle.

"Hi Mommy," Laney greeted, immediately losing interest in the puzzle as she pushed it slightly in Avery's direction. "I went swimming and Dinah throwed me," she continued, her eyes widening as she went into story mode. "I was so brave and it was SO fun," she emphasized. "I want to go to Mila's mommy's everyday. I love that pool."
