"Where are you?" he texts me, as I step outside the hostel gates. I had been feeling quite lonely for a while and all I wanted was a nice walk around the campus.

"I am not sure," I reply, walking towards SP.

"Do you want company?" he asks again.

Not wanting to burden him I reply in negative only to receive an "I am coming" from him.

I resume my Spotify playlist, keeping the flower I had plucked for him close as I fidget on the warm slab. After skipping the songs for twenty minutes, I see his tall figure covered in faded pink, make its way through the SP entrance.

"I took a lil longer," he said, out of breath, as he reached me. "Laundry."

"You didn't have to bother dude," I say, and he shushes me.

"Boyfie duties."

Handing him the flower, I see his eyes light up and he places a small kiss on my lips. Smiling, he takes out his phone to capture a picture and places it between his lips.

"So, what do you want to do? Where do you want to go?" he asks after a while. I rack my brain and think of the places I had been wanting to visit.

"Do you want to go to Udupi?" I ask. "I had been wanting to go with a friend spontaneously, but it is really far."

Without answering, he takes my hand and leads me toward Gate 2. It was a very spontaneous plan- we were supposed to be spending time on campus- but there we were, taking a bus to Udupi.
