Selina Choi is a Hairdressing student at Jaewon High School. She would've taken the Fashion major instead if she really wanted to. But if she did take the major... She couldn't dye her hair.

Which she calls bullshit! You're saying Jay Hong's hair is naturally blonde?! What a stupid rule!

But oh well. She's a Hairdressing major now. She could do aaaanything to her hair. Her hair is naturally black (and silky!) but she dyed the ends in a red ombre.

Her class has a lot of girls. Their hairstyles were interesting. One had their hair full blonde, or in half half color... But the most interesting thing is in her class there is one lone guy named Eli Jang.

He had bright cotton candy pink hair, and by Korean beauty standards, he was pretty handsome. He's tall, has pretty eyes, and smiles all the time... But sometimes she feels like his smiles doesn't reach his eyes. His skills in cutting hair was... Not that good, to be honest. She couldn't fathom why he wanted to be a hairdresser.

But oh well. One can improve at hairdressing.

From the minimal time they interacted (because of his fangirls, which she is not a part of) he seemed polite and real nice. He tries remembering her name when they only ever talked once, which Selina greatly appreciated. She never got to talk to him much though, as he was surrounded by girls all the time.

And then, there was her part time job.

The kids in her part time job loved her hair. She worked at a daycare, which she goes to after school. Why a daycare and not a salon? She just happens to be a natural with kids. They love her, and she had grown to love them.

The kids found her hair fascinating. And everytime they saw her with a new braid, they ask her to style their hair as well! From cute pigtails to fishtail braids, she did everything.

There was this one kid though. She was named Yenna, and her hair always seemed to be in a neat bun. Sometimes Selina had to fix it because when Yenna was running around, her hair falls out of the bunch. But whoever did that bun had solid skills, kudos to them.

Yenna was a cute girl. Around two or three years old, but she couldn't really speak yet. Instead, Yenna is very active. She would approach Selina and put her arms up, asking to be carried. Yenna would hug her neck and kiss her cheek, and Selina felt like sometimes, Yenna was her own daughter.

Selina wouldn't admit it, but Yenna was her favorite.

Sadly Yenna was always in the daycare the whole day. Her parents must have worked from early morning to late night. Even when Selina clocked out of her shift, Yenna was still at the daycare waiting to be picked up.

In the instance Yenna leaves early, an older woman who looked like a grandmother picks her up. The grandma informed that she was the neighbor of Yenna, and had done her dad a favor since he was a 'nice kid'. The grandma doesn't seem to mind as she seemed lonely as well. Taking care of Yenna bought some happiness to her.

But today, Everybody from her work had gone home. Selina had extended her shift because she was late to work. Only Yenna was still at the daycare, as other parents had picked up their child after work.

Yenna had sat down diligently playing with toys as Selina cleaned up. Eventually she got bored, and Selina moved the girl to the front desk so she could close the daycare's playground. She managed to hold Yenna in her arms, balancing her as she typed the daily report with one hand. Yenna played with Selina's hair as she waited.

Not long, Selina turned off the computer. She shut down some lights, and impatiently looked at the clock.
