Their relationship was quite funny.

They were friends now, but they don't really interact at school. Eli was swarmed by the girls while Selina picked a secluded place to do things alone like usual. The roof was her go to spot.

On the other hand, out of school they talk more.

Selina started waiting for Eli to pick up Yenna at the daycare. She made it her mission to accompany the child to wait for her father. Her co-workers were confused on why she would want to be the one closing up the store late at night. Selina didn't mind, as she got to see and talk to Eli in those little moments.

Today, Eli had picked Yenna up quite early. Yenna wasn't asleep as Eli carried her along the way, conversing with Selina.

"I managed to have a new customer today..." Eli smiled sadly, "I think I still need more practice because the haircut I did turned out so bad."

"Did the customer complain?" Selina asked as she munched on her ddeokpokki.

"Not really. But I could tell people were looking at him weirdly."

"Well, if the customer's not complaining, Eli, why would you feel bad?" Selina pointed out.

"It could be that they feel bad to say it to me."

"...Does this happen to you a lot?" She frowned.

"Yeah..."

Oh Eli... They feel bad to say it to your pretty looking innocent face.

"Hmmm... That's not good then. Sometimes you need to hear the truth, even if it's criticism, to improve."

Selina patted his shoulder. "I'm sorry to say this, but your hairdressing skills really need to improve."

"It's okay. Thanks for telling me the truth." Eli eye smiled. "If you can... Can you help me on it?"

"On hairdressing?"

"I sometimes like to see how the whole class do their assignments... Yours caught my eye often." He admitted.

Selina stopped walking, surprised at the information.

"Wait wait wait, you actually... Actually saw my hairdressing work? Me doing hairdressing?"

"Well, you're at the back of the classroom. I sometimes try to look around, and you're the only girl who stayed in your station to style the mannequins. The rest either talk with their friends or just... Flock around. You were so serious with your work, cutting the hair, dyeing it... Styling it..." Eli trailed off with a smile. "You're very admirable."

Selina felt blood rise to her cheek.

"Y-You..."

Selina crouched down suddenly, legs weak. Eli was surprised.

So he saw her jamming to music, doing those little moves, and humming? He couldn't have heard her humming. He's in the middle-front area of the class while she's at the back next to the window. But He. Saw. Her. Work.

"Selina! Are you okay?"

"I'm alright.. I just didn't expect you to see me work. It must've been embarrassing..."

"Not really," Eli chuckled. "I think I saw one fancy trick you did and tried following it, only to cut the whole bangs of my own mannequin."

Selina looked up to his face. He was slightly blushing, like her, and also embarrassed.

"Of course you did," She giggled.

Eli felt his heart skip a beat as he heard her giggle.

"It's a secret technique I developed myself!" She boasted, standing back up and putting her hands on her hips. "You can't easily copy me, young grasshopper!"
