It was Monday, and there seemed to be a new kid at school. Someone by the name of Daniel Park, and he was stealing the interests of the girls of the school because of his handsomeness. Selina wasn't interested.

Lunch was currently her top priority, and she'll get some after tidying up her desk...

"Selina...?" A familiar voice called out. Wait. Isn't that...

She turned around to see Eli.

"Eli?" She muttered.

"Do you... Do you want to have lunch together?" He asked, hopeful.

The busy sounding class suddenly turned silent at his question. Selina unsurely looked around to see disappointment, anger, jealosy, everything from the rest of her classmates.

She was about to reject him when he gave her those puppy dog eyes.

Dammit...

"...Sure..." She muttered. Eli instantly lit up with a big smile and moved out of the way so they can walk side by side. The two walked out of the class, and Selina could feel the hair at the back of her neck rise as she felt people following them.

It was uncomfortable.

But Eli was trying. He tried making turn her attention to him and to ignore their stalkers. He asked her about how to cut some hairstyles and all, just making small conversation.

And Selina noticed that, and appreciated him.

Fine. She'll try to ignore the stares and glares.

"Selina Choi!" She was pushed to a bathroom stall after school. "Stay away from Eli Jang!"

Several girls were around her, acting high and mighty. The worst thing that they were ganging up and looking down on her.

Selina took it all in. Their comments, threats, and all that stuff. She even looked bored.

"Stay away from Eli Jang!"

"You don't deserve to talk to him!"

"Glance in his direction!"

"Or even date him!"

"Just stay away from him!"

"Are you listening to me?!" The leader of the group screamed.

"You keep saying the same stuff." Selina said dryly.

"Then get away from Eli Jang! You're staining his pure innocence!"

Selina actually laughed at that.

"Oh? But what if I don't want to?" Selina mocked. "Eli's my friend."

"That's such a lie!"

"Really? Then ask Eli yourself."

"Ugh!" The leader got angry and threw a bucket of water on top of her.

Selina was quite surprised at the cold. She glared at the girls that surround her. She was soaked from head to toe.

Big mistake.

"Damn. Bad choice." She swept her bangs away from her eyes. Her hand went to her pocket to take her hairdressing scissors. Their eyes widened as they saw the sharp object.

With quick speed, she swiped it across the leader's face. They all screamed in panic, afraid that Selina would stab her. But nothing really happened, and they all let out a shaky breath.

"An eye for an eye." Selina smirked. The leader touched her face and finally noticed Selina had cut her bangs and made it look bad.

"Oh wait, you need a haircut too," She turned to the other girl and cut the ends of her hair, "You too," Then to another and cut her hair lopsidedly.

She kept cutting each of the bullies' hair. If they were stronger... She would've beat them up. But they were just a fanclub of Eli's. They'll cower from the threat.

"Get away from me if you don't want me to cut your hair again," She threatened back. "And I won't hesitate to cut something else."

Selina snipped her scissors for dramatics.

The girls shrieked and quickly left the bathroom.

"Crazy bitch!!!" One shouted in terror.

Selina let out an evil cackle.

"Run, peasants!"

"Selina!" Eli jogged to her worriedly, "Why are you wet?!"

He had waited for her so they could walk together to their part time jobs.

"Eli," She turned around. "I accidentally kicked a bucket of water."

Eli frowned. He didn't believe her. How could one simply get wet from head to toe from slipping on a bhcker of water?

"You should change your clothes. You'll get sick!" Eli advised as he patted her shoulders.

Selina sighed and tried squeezing out water from her hair.

"I don't have any spare change of clothes. It's the end of school anyways." She shrugged. "I'll make do."

"No. You need to change. You'll get sick!" Eli sighed and took out something from his bag. It was a t-shirt. He opened the folds, and Selina could see that the size was a big too big for her. Eli is tall anyways.

"Here, you can change to this." He passed it to her.

Selina looked at the shirt with a frown. "But I don't want to go back to the bathroom," She muttered.

Eli gave her a scolding eye and crossed his arms.

"Fine, I'll change." She pouted, and went to the other bathroom of the floor.

Selina didn't come to work that day. She had called the daycare saying she couldn't make it. They were fine, and wished her all the best.

She went home to take a nice warm bath. Her wet clothes were put on wash and then onto the dryer. Eli's shirt was also cleaned along.

She then took her time cooking dinner, do her homework, watch some TV... But it felt empty to not come to work. She missed Yenna. And even if she did saw Eli earlier at school, she missed their walk home together...

Oh man. She forgot to inform him that she had gone home. She doesn't have his number as well. There wasn't any need to get his number so far.

"Ah, I'll ask him next time. I hope I remember..."

She didn't.

Eli was disappointed when he did not saw Selina when he picked up Yenna. Yenna was also looking not as energetic as usual.

"You miss Selina too?" He asked to his daughter as they walked home. As if understanding, Yenna nodded, sullen.

"It's alright. We'll see her again tomorrow!" Eli tried to cheer her up.
