Selina was looking quite pretty today.

It was the school festival, and their class were having a hair cutting booth. Both Eli and Selina joined. Selina was excited as she never really cut someone's hair before in real life. It's always those practice mannequins. This was her chance!

So she tried to make impressions by wearing make up. She had to be representable! Her hair was styled in a high ponytail that's curly by the ends. She was a shock to her whole class as she looked quite cute. She looked very approachable today, not like her usual glaring self.

Eli tried stealing glances to her as he cut the hair of girls that lined up for him. He was always in awe how serious and professional she looked. Her customers were satisfied, and eventually more lined up to get their hair cut by her. Her line was just a little bit fewer than Eli.

Well, he did do some fanservice so...

And he tries so hard to block their advances, haha.

Eventually after cutting for quite an amount, Selina closed her line for lunch break, and told her customers to line back up again around 30 minutes. She came to Eli who was still cutting the hair of fangirls with tons of people still in line.

"Eli," She sighed as she put down her bottle that she just drank, "You can't do it that way."

"Selina?" Eli blinked and stopped cutting the hair of his customer.

"You need to do it like this..." Selina demonstrated on half of the girl's hair. The girl looked quite annoyed that her session with Eli was cut off by her, but after looking at the mirror she gasped. Selina's cut was amazing!

"Okay, I'll try to follow you," Eli nodded.

"This is just the perfect time for you to practice. Keep trying hard!" Selina patted his shoulder then left to have lunch.

In the end, the girl was left with half good hair by Selina and half bad hair by Eli.

Selina went back to her line after lunch to see a few people already waiting for her. She thanked them for waiting and apologized for closing her line. She then started cutting hair again, and customers were left satisfied.

Eventually they had to close the line and change to another classmate for a rotation. Except Eli, since he seemed to be the moneymaker there.

She caught his eye and looked at him with pity.

"Good luck," She mouthed and she drank her bottle of water.

Eli smiled and was about to reply when one figure got in front of her.

"E-Excuse me..." A guy shyly appeared. Selina recognized him as one of the guys she cut the hair of earlier.

"Yes? Would you like me to fix your hair or something?" Selina said worriedly, hands going to her apron to get her scissors.

"No, no... Um..." The guy took out his phone. "I think you're pretty..."

Both Selina and Eli's eyes widened.

"Can I please have your number?" The guy finally asked.

Selina was left shocked.

"Y-You want my number?!" She blushed.

"Yes, and if you want, we could also go and eat together, maybe?"

Snip.

"GAHHH!!!"

Eli jumped in shock. The girl that he was cutting her hair screamed. Her eyes were teary and she was holding the ends of her long hair-- now short in panic. Eli quickly apologised-- thankfully the girl was understanding (thanks to his looks) and quickly said it was fine while drooling.

When he looked back at Selina, she was already gone.

And of course Eli was the one in the auction. He smiled as he watched the crowd, but deep down inside he worries about Selina going out with that guy. He searched through the faces for her to no avail. So he tried to hide it off with a smile.

His class had eventually bet 500.000 Won for him. The deal was almost done when one hand shot up from the crowd.

"600.000 Won!"

Everyone gasped and turned to the girl that shouted. Eli's eued widenef ad he realized it was Selina. Her face was flushed and she was breathing hard, as if she had been running. Their eyes met.

"610.000 Won!" Their fellow classmates countered. Selina sighed as she turned to them with a glare, making them winch.

"620.000 Won." Selina countered.

"6-625.000 Won!!!"

Selina smirked as she had won.

"650.000 Won!"

Indeed, she had won. The girls were glaring at her, but as she smirked back at them, they turned around to whisper.

Eli came over to her.

"You spent 650.000 Won on me?" He softly said.

"Yep." Selina smiled.

"Why?"

"I just thought that..." She put a strand of her hair behind her ear, "You looked quite forced being on that stage, even if you were smiling."

Selina patted his shoulder with a smile.

"Since I won, I would like for you to spend the time with Yenna instead." She said, then waved to him, "I've got to go now. See ya,"

"Wait!" Eli held her wrist, stopping her. Selina turned around confusedly.

"Huh? What's wrong?"

"I-I..." Eli stuttered. "Can I have your number?"

"I thought you don't have one? Don't you use a pager?" She blinked.

Eli shyly looked away and took his phone out of his pocket, showing it to her.

"Were you lying to the girls so they don't get your number?" She giggled as she took his phone and put in her number.

"Yes..." He admitted.

"There's nothing wrong with that." Selina called her phone through his, getting his number. She gave his phone back to him. "Here."

"Thanks, Selina." He smiled, "For everything."

"Haha, you're welcome. Now spend your free time with Yenna, she really needs it."

"Wait!"

"You still need something?"

"Are you going out with that guy earlier?" Eli asked worriedly. Selina rolled her eyes and frowned.

"The guy that asked for my number? Hell no." She spat. "Turns out he was faking it. He has a girlfriend and kept asking girls around for their number. What a jerk."

Eli let out a relieved sigh.

"So where are you going right now?"

"Uhhhhh--" Selina looked away shyly with a blush. "I actually have a modelling gig. A kid in the daycare's mother turns out to me an agent and is looking for a model. I don't know why she choose me, but the pay is quite good so..."

"I'm sure you'll do great." Eli convinced.

"Thanks, Eli. that means a lot." Selina smiled appreciatively. "I've got to go now. See you soon!"

Eli waved goodbye and watched as she walked away with a smile.
