My stomach rumbled.
The pizza yesterday was probably too much...

I swing my ass out of my bed and look for clothes to wear for work

As I hold the clothes in my arms, gathering them all on one chair, I notice a pice of paper on my kitchen counter.

I put down the clothes and got closer to it
It was the paper from yesterday, same colors, same font, and it was crinkled up as well.
Slowly I picked it up and looked at it

It was all the same, except for a simple change;
The phone number from below was now highlighted and an arrow painted at it

"Call 88******9096 to get a day off! No buts, no backlashes!"

How did... Never mind.

I put on my clothes and quickly left for work

------

The tram was a mess.
People were in it like animals, all cramped up, not moving an inch. The smell of sweat and booze made my nose hurt and my head spin.
An older man bumped into me, making me loose my balance for a second. When I turned around to give him my best death stare, he just looked at me with disgust.

Just when I thought I'd burst, a young man turned around to look at me.
He had deep eye bags, wild hair and a nice smile

"You alrighty' sunshine?"

He asks with a generous tone in his voice.
He didn't break eye contac, it wasn't uncomfortable but rather...

"You getting a little overwhelmed in here?"
"Yeah, but I'll be alright"

He gave me a warm smile and pulled out a card

"Here, if you need someone to talk to, just call this number"

I raised an eyebrow and took the card

"Oh well, that's my stop haha. See ya sweet face!"

And with that he was gone.
Slowly I looked at the card he gave me and my eyes widened

"Is your life miserable?"

For the love of God, what?
No, that had to be a coincidence. Was he working for this company or what ever this was? Maby it was a sign? From the higher ups? Bullcrap, it was just... Coincidence.
Yet I still put the card in my pocket, and got out at my stop.

Throwing my stuff on my desk, I plump down on my chair and turned my computer on.
It makes a familiar noise and the screen lights up.
I check my inbox and the tasks my boss has given me;

From: Mr Hendricks
To: me

-call Shelly back about our 3pm meeting today
-cancel my plans for tomorrow till Friday, I'm on a business trip
-Mr Galls wanted to call today, to discuss about about our prices, forward him to me if he calls
-finished paperwork

I close the email and search for Shelly's number
In one hand I hold her card, and with the other I dial her number

-beep-

-beep-

-beep-

"Hello this is Supercamp GmbH, Liam speaking, how can I help you?"

Liam, the secretary of shelly answers my call, with a certain pep in his voice

"Yeah hi Liam, this is Y/N, can ya forward me to Shelly?"
"Sure thing, just hold on a sec"
