Second Chance

Album

JYP Entertainment already denied the dating Scandal involving Chaeyoung and Suzy. On the other hand, Chaeyoung and her mom are still not okay. The members and staff are now preparing for the concept and song inclusion in the album.

At the JYP conference room,

Team Leader: So guys, PD-nim wants to finish this album as soon as possible. We are only given 3 weeks to prepare. We will have 7 songs in the album.  PD-nim already approved the songs. So, this week will be recording the song.. then, practice the choreography. After which, the MV making. Then, we will do the rest.

The team leader let the song writer explain the meaning of their songs. One of them is Chaeyoung.

Chaeyoung: Uhm.. The song called " Second Chance" It's about a girl who's scared of losing her memories than death so she likes to have second chance in life"

Team Leader: Sounds interesting.. you're a skilled writer Ms. Son. PD-nim almost picked this as your group's title track.. It's very different from your previous written songs....  Okay.. let's listen to " Second Chance"

The track titled "second chance" was played. The members and staff was shocked. The lyrics of the song hits differently.

Jihyo: Cub?! It's very unusual for you to have this written lyrics.
Nayeon: Where's the romantic Chaeyoung go?!

Everyone laughs except Tzuyu and Chaeyoung's Manager unnie. The two are crying because they know that the song has a double meaning. A song hoping for a second chance but already preparing for death.

Sana: Hey! Are you okay?
Tzuyu: The song.. is so sad..
Chaeyoung: Yah! It's okay. (*holding Tzuyu's hand below the table*)

At the JYP Recording Studio,

The other members started recording their parts but Son Chaeyoung is having the difficulty to memorize her parts. It takes how many tries before she finished all her part and luckily it's PD-nim who's directing the song recording. JYP knows that Chaeyoung experiences almost all the symptoms of her disease that's why PD-nim wants to finish the album as soon as possible. Meanwhile, Chaeyoung cursing herself because she knows she cannot control her symptoms.

At the JYP's practice room,

The dance trainer scolded Chaeyoung because she cannot memorize the steps. She's making mistakes and it is visible that she struggles to cope up. The trainer decides to have a short break and wants to talk to PD-nim.

Tzuyu: It's okay Chaeng. I believe in you.

Chaeyoung: Shit.. shit.. This is not happening.. Not now.. shit!! I'm getting worse day by day.. Now.. what? Son Chaeyoung! (*Slaps herself x 2*)

Tzuyu: Hey!! Stop(* holding Chaeyoung's hands*) The members are looking at us.

The members are worried to Chaeyoung. She seems okay but deep inside she's not. They noticed changes to Chaeyoung like how Chaeyoung suddenly gets out of balance, the way Chaeyoung stops because she feels dizzy and how forgetful Chaeyoung is. The members are looking at Chaeyoung and Tzuyu until they see Chaeyoung slaps herself really hard  two times in a row. 

Momo: Chaeng.. Are you okay?! I'll help you with the Choreography. It's okay.
Jeongyeon: Chaeng.. it's okay. I messed up too. You know...
Jihyo: Me too..

Chaeyoung's manager Unnie went to her. The members kept on encouraging Chaeyoung.

Manager Unnie: Hey! It's not your fault. It's okay. Let's finish this and everything's gonna be alright.

Dance Trainer: Ahm.. Chaeyoung-ssi.. PD-nim wants to see you.

Chaeyoung stood up but again she lost her balance..

Chaeyoung: Shit!! Urg.. That hurts!!

Everyone was shocked when Chaeyoung cursed herself like it was the first time they saw her irritated and mad for an unknown reason.

Manager Unnie: Here.. let me help you.
Chaeyoung: Thanks Unnie. Oh! I'm dizzy.. Shit!!
Tzuyu: Chaeng..

Mina stood up to check on the three but Jihyo stopped her. If Chaeyoung is really not okay, she thinks Mina is the last person she wants to see her at her worst.

Jihyo: Tzu..

Jihyo saw Tzuyu silently crying the same as Chaeyoung who wipes her own tears. Tzuyu wipes her tears and looks at Jihyo with pleading looks as if  telling her let's talk about this later. After three minutes, Chaeyoung stood up again and walked out of the practice room together with her Manager Unnie.

Outside the practice room,

Dance Trainer: Chaeyoung-ssi.. wait.. I'm sorry.. I didn't know.
Chaeyoung: It's okay Miss.. It not your fault. I'm gonna be practicing hard later.
Please don't tell to them what PD-nim told you. Thank you.

At The Twice Apartment,

Jihyo went to Tzuyu's room to ask the latter what really happened during the practice.

Jihyo: Tzu.. Tell me honestly.. what's happening?!
Tzuyu: Unnie..
Jihyo: What?! Did Chaeyoung told you not to tell us again?
Tzuyu: *Nods*
Jihyo: Yah! Just tell me.. so that I can help you. You're having a hard time because you kept it all yourself. Why she's acting like that?
Tzuyu: She's sick..
Jihyo: What?!
Tzuyu: Yah.. Unnie.. minimize your voice.. She have.. mild depression.
Jihyo: Ehh? Started when?
Tzuyu: Five months ago..
Jihyo: What?!
Tzuyu: I think it's getting worst..
Jihyo: So that's why I saw her taking at least 4 medicine tablets almost everyday?!
Tzuyu: *nods*
Jihyo: Don't worry. I'll help you with the cub.

Tzuyu didn't tell Jihyo about the true reason because she still hopes that Chaeyoung will tell them.

At MV recording location,

The recording seems doing good. Chaeyoung didn't messed up as much as she did during the practice. Today is the last day of shooting. Chaeyoung is not feeling well. She really tries her best to finish the schedule today.

Manager Unnie: Are you okay?! Let's go home if you're not okay. I already informed the staff that you have a schedule after this.
Chaeyoung: I'm dizzy.. I want to vomit.
Manager Unnie: It's your fourth time already..

The two went to the comfort room again. Afterwards, Chaeyoung take her pain reliever.  Jihyo saw it and she's really worried.

Jihyo: Chaeng! You should go home...
Chaeyoung: Is it okay Unnie? I'm really gonna go home.. I'm not feeling well.
Jihyo:(*pats Chaeyoung's head*) Go home now.. It's almost done..
Chaeyoung: Please tell Tzuyu that I went home without her. And take good care of Mina unnie.
Jihyo: sure.. go home now.

Chaeyoung bid her goodbye to the staff and crew. She didn't forget to thank them for their hard work. Manager Unnie and Chaeyoung went to the hospital where she had her first check up.

Doctor: Ms. Son, You should have the surgery within the month. It's getting bigger. As I told you even it's benign tumor, we cannot disregard the fact that it can still harm you.
Chaeyoung: Can't I have it, next month?
Doctor: Let's not waste time Ms. Son. You have to decide within the month.
Chaeyoung: Can I have pain reliever?
Doctor: But I gave you enough for 2 months. Don't tell me you're over using it?
Chaeyoung: No. I lost the bottle.
Doctor: Are you sure? Then, I'll give you another bottle. Don't overdose yourself. It's dangerous. It can kill you.
Chaeyoung: Noted Doc.
