II: Last words

Narrator:

After Chaeyoung revealed her condition with her friends, all of them kept quiet. After their heavy crying nobody dared to talk. Dahyun and Tzuyu are seated beside Chaeyoung who's eating together with Momo. Sana and Jihyo are comforting Mina in her room. Nayeon and Jeongyeon are looking at the maknaes.  Silence is evident at the apartment until Chaeyoung's manager unnie comes in.

Manager Unnie: Uhm... Chaeng, you're still not ready?
Chaeyoung: Oh! I forgot... Wait Unnie.. Give me 30 minutes.
Manager Unnie: Ok. But, wait.. what's with the silence..?
Chaeyoung: They already know...
Manager Unnie: Oh! You told them?
Chaeyoung: Yes... I'll go ahead Unnie..

Nayeon: Unnie.... Can you tell us what's really happening to Chaeyoung?

Manager Unnie: *sighs*

Manager Unnie told the girls Chaeyoung real condition and possible changes that might happen to Chaeyoung after the surgery.

Nayeon: So, she's really serious about the brain tumor..thing.. I taught this is just a prank.. (*cries*)

Jeongyeon: Of course she's serious... By the way, manager unnie.. Where are you going?

Manager Unnie: uhmm.. to her doctor.. She'll be checked again her symptoms are getting worst day by day... Afterwards, we'll be meeting Sir JYP for some concerns after she leaves.

Dahyun: Unnie... What do you mean?

Manager Unnie: I mean.. Chaeyoung wants to raise some concerns... You know.. she can't even promise to herself that she'll come back as Twice Son Chaeyoung again... but you know her she'll do her best... Let's hope for the best.

At Mina's Room,

Sana and Jihyo are still inside Mina's room comforting her.

Knock.. knock..

Chaeyoung: Unnies.. Can I come in?
Jihyo: Come inside, Cub.
Sana: Are you going out?
Chaeyoung: *nods*

Chaeyoung sit beside Mina and hold her hands.

Chaeyoung: Mina unnie.. Are you okay? I'm going out. They need to check this (*pointing her head*)..
Mina: Why? Does it hurt again? (*Caressing Chaeyoung's head*) Are you going alone? I'm going with you.
Chaeyoung: *chuckles* It's not hurting anymore. I'm going with my manager unnie. Just rest here. You look so tired. (*Caressing Mina's hands*)
Sana: Ahem.. we are still here..
Chaeyoung: I know Sana Unnie.. So, as usual okay?
Sana: I know Cub.. just go already. You're Doctor might scold you if you're late..
Chaeyoung: *chuckles* I'm not a kid to be scolded anymore... I'm not going home today.. maybe tomorrow?.. Take a rest so that you'll have energy in your comeback promotions.
Jihyo: Oh! I almost forgot.. We have a meeting later. PD-nim texted me this morning.
Chaeyoung: Okay.. I'm going now. I love you unnies.. see you tomorrow.

Chaeyoung hugged her unnies then left the room. Before leaving the apartment she also hugged the other members. For the first time, Tzuyu cannot accompany Chaeyoung for her check up because of their come back schedule.

At Chaeyoung's house,

It's already 10'oclock in the evening, the two already done visiting the hospital for check up and done meeting JYP. The two are now in the balcony looking at the sky while drinking wine.

Chaeyoung: Unnie... (*Still looking at the sky)
Manager Unnie: Chaeng..
Chaeyoung: (*looks to her Manager Unnie*) Unnie.. if ever you're not Twice manager.. what else you want to do?
Manager Unnie: Uhmm.. I want to own a cafe... Why you ask?
Chaeyoung: Then hire me if that happens.. hahaha
Manager Unnie: tsk... You're so random Chaeng..
Chaeyoung: I know... Hahaha
Manager Unnie: How about your mom? You will not tell her?
Chaeyoung: *shakes her head* Just tell her after the surgery. I know she'll definitely know it. PD-nim will release the statement of my hiatus before the comeback promotion starts.
Manager Unnie: The same day to your operation.. Are you scared?
Chaeyoung: I'll be lying if I tell you I'm not. I'm so scared right now.
Manager Unnie: Don't be scared. I'll be there when you woke up. I'll help you remember.
Chaeyoung: Thanks Unnie. For everything. Without you I don't know if I can do it.
Manager Unnie: All I do wast to guide you Chaeng. You're like my sister.

After an hour, the two decided to end their heart to heart talk and sleep.

At Twice Apartment,

Chaeyoung wakes up early and goes back to Twice Apartment. She decided to go inside Mina's room.

Chaeyoung: Mina unnie.. (back hugging Mina)
Mina: Chaeng? What time is it?
Chaeyoung: 7 in the morning... Tired?
Mina: *chuckles* I'm not tired. I just woke up.
Chaeyoung: oops. Sorry.. unnie.. let's stay like this for awhile.. I'm gonna miss this for sure.. so let me.. okay?!
Mina: Chaeng...
Chaeyoung: hmmm?
Mina: Chaeng....
Chaeyoung: What is it?
Mina: Please comeback to me...
Chaeyoung:  Ne~
Mina: If it happens you won't remember me.. I'll make you remember me..
Chaeyoung: Ne~ I'll be waiting.. I love you Mina unnie.
Mina: I love you too Chaeng..

Chaeyoung spends her day with the members. She's happy that somehow she saw the members smile again although sadness is still visible to their eyes.
